He’s a decent defender but absolutely woeful in possession. Now he’s starting to be **** out of possession whilst defending too. Needs taking out of the team. He’s not a leader on the pitch despite being captain so it’s not like we’d miss his influence.
Giles was exposed with two players, but he should have at least pressed the player with the ball and made him pick a short pass. Instead he just wandered backwards to allow him all the time in the world to put the cross in.
Id be thinking about taking Palmer off, not really playing to his strengths today and he's completely unresponsive to any loose/second balls.
