Another defeat but away to the top team and it seems a much, much better performance.

One downside may be an injury to Obafemi but he went down just before a double substitution so it may have been one of those “tactical” injuries.

No. Too soon for that but I think it’s a great appointment as a father-figure for Wayne Rooney.

We need stability of selection now and we have a week until the next game.

When I phoned Cooper and said "you have to save Argyle" I think he misunderstood the direction. Trouble is we all know how good he is so we can't complain that he was probably their MOM.
