I got into a right row in a Tesco a few months back. Late at night, huge queue for the self check out as half of them were broken and not a single human cashier on duty. I asked to speak to the floor manager and requested 10% off my bill Why? She asked. Because I am going to spend the next half an hour standing in queue and then a further half an hour trying to get my items to balance on a platform that is too small for half the items and can't detect the weight of the other half, then ten minutes packing all of that into bags that seem to go up by 10p every time I walk into the shop. I don't work for Tesco, I'm doing your job for you and paying you for the privilege. So I want money off please.
