Interesting. Any particular reason why Acun has seemingly made a u-turn considering the ties with Kappa Türkiye? I wasn’t a fan of us having Kappa kits at first as last season’s kit had so many problems with them in terms of shoddy design, quality control and consistency. This season’s kits are nice though and the retro/anniversary aren’t bad at all either. Umbro has always been solid. We’ve had worse kits with Adidas and their kits these days are all cookie-cutter designs in different club colours. There’s no variety or individuality.
No idea. Asked the question but didn't get a concrete response. If it was me it was probably down to the constant quality issues but that's not based on anything I've heard
I’m a medium and the medium shirt was a good fit, wouldn’t say you need to order different to what you are.
You can say they are doing too many shirts all you like but they must be doing something right as the queuing system is back up on the shop again for this one too! We'll probably sell many more of this replica than we ever did the original.
Our support was at an all time low in the 90's, shirt sales almost non existent, i remember getting my lad a kit when literally every kid at his school wore Man utd or Liverpool. Hope the value of these rare originals pushes higher with the re issue and it's a reminder of how far we fell.
What was our average around that time? 4 or 5 thousand? Factor in that nobody really liked that shirt(it was mocked by many) and the difficulty involved in getting anything Hull City at the time and it explains why very few were sold and probably very few manufactured. I used to phone my old Mum who lived in Driff at the time and ask her to send me up a new top when one came out that I liked.9 times out of 10 she'd phone me back after going into Hull and say "they never had any"...
