Liked the pressure put on their defence every opportunity. We got away with a penalty and our goal was hand of God style. Long hard season ahead. January requires recruits.

He'd ran himself into the ground. He was all over that pitch tonight.

Carrying too many ****e players. Injuries and stuff have not helped but there's players on that bench that need to step up earn their wage.

Bit of emergency surgery in January and we may just have enough.

Much improved I believe. If we can play like that for 4/5 games to Jan pick up some points we should be ok. We can’t finish a hot dinner though.

    Better performance and result
We should have stopped their goal or at least not let him run so far with the ball but our goal shouldn't have stood as was handball.
Overall I'll take that and think there is more to come. Ruben hasn't had much time to sort things out and look better already

Just how the fk was their goal Giles fault ? Slater misses the tackle halfway then him and Mehlem can't keep up with the player, Giles is marking the player in front and has to try and mark both eventually, ball gets squared and Mclaughlin is stood picking his arse instead of marking the free man in the box ?

A shame but so, so much better.... a lack of quality yes, lack of heart no.... in the past 8 weeks that would have ended 0-1. We made some great chances, some good passages creating them that could have put the game to bed. ... what he's managed to do in two days says a good bit for me.

Id do that if I was paid good money too. Doesn’t win the ball back and doesn’t do anything with it.

Better, not great but better. We didn't lose, we scored and most of the side looked up for it for the full 90. I wouldn't be dumping players just yet but Giles, Longman and Slater were disappointing, Coyle should be rested for a while.

At least we didn’t lose but for ****’s sake, just foul him somewhere outside the box. That’s what I mean when I say we’re too nice and lack nous. Get a handful of his shirt and yank him back. Don’t let him run 30 yards to cut back the ball in the box.

He was still frustrating as hell tonight. He hit the ball against opposition legs more often than he did to one of our players, often resulting in a break for them.

I actually thought Giles was better. More attacking intent.

Yet his pass into the centre of the box was the best of the night.
