Assist on Saturday for the winner, scored tonight to rescue a point. And some on here want him dropped.

Yep because he was poor before these 2 games . He has a run of 5 or 6 games where he was ineffective, offering little going forward and he wasn't a goal threat at all

Played well on Saturday, didn't think he played well at all tonight but brilliant goal of us own doing

Agree with all of that, but that is what he is capable of. If he was playing like that week in week out he wouldn’t be with us.
Bit of a luxury, but in my mind worth it.

I just want to see better movement from him, he actually showed it more tonight - attacking the back post etc.

His close control is unreal but he's at the end now where he needs more than that. Let's hope tonight's goal gives him and boost & he kicks on over the nxt month or so

I'm not convinced by him as a long term member of our first team.

I think he is one who will have to be replaced if we are serious about promotion.

A goal and an assist doesn't really change that.

Class, love Pat me. Gets me off my seat and players like him are one of the main reason's I goto wtatch footy live in the flesh. He gets marked by 3 or 4 players but gets pulled up when he loses it
......where are the spare players making the runs when he's occupying 3 or 4?

Love him myself for the same reasons. Technically he is a joke his ability to drift by 2 or 3 men effortlessly is at times Outrageous

He suffers that we don’t have a mobile 10. Him and Amad were immense.

He remains one of my favourite players at the club. Graceful as ****.

You'd rather have him in your squad than not, but he's often hugely frustrating. He could be replaced with better for not a huge fee. I'd take a reasonable offer for him.

He was rotated out due to illness tbf. His performance at the weekend warranted keeping his place. He was good again tonight even despite not being 100%. That’s definitely a good sign for us.

Yeah, of course. He's been a good signing overall. Another definite tick in Speakman's book. I think we should be looking to replace him and offload in the summer though.

No matter what happens between now and when he leaves, Patrick Roberts will be remembered fondly. A cracking player signed in a bad period for the club. I love the lad

Isn't that young Riggs role, the mobile 10, that lad needs a rest as we all know....when Roberts is on it he's almost unplayable, were getting into good positions in front of goal but not delivering, we seem to panic into shooting quickly and hitting the first defender....Need calm heads in front of goal.
Speaking of calm heads, had Ballard took a second in trying to clear his lines they wouldn't have scored.
I like Ballard but like one or two others a lay off hasn't done him any favours and I include Jobe in that, he needs to lay the ball off quicker.

He's a wonderful player. When he receives the ball it seems to stick like glue to his left foot, but,too often he puts his head down and tries to take on two or three defenders with mazy dribbles, spinning around and changing direction, often with a poor delivery even if he manages to escape the challenges.
I'd like to see a more cultured approach from him.... less touches and a better delivery.
