Hopefully the assist tonight puts him in RLBs plans.

It was explained earlier in the thread, I thought everyone knew ...

... 'REGIS LE BRIS has congratulated Chris Rigg and Jobe Bellingham for successfully avoiding a suspension for picking up five yellow cards.'

If he is making the Serbian national squad he can replace Chris Rigg on 70mins. We need to show some trust and allow the obsession with control to change.

No point strengthening the squad if we don't use our substitutes earlier in the game, and this so far is RLB only major flaw.

Well just back in and not going over the road because there will be some who will defend it, but that was easily the worst officials I’ve seen. I’ve played Sunday League and had better referees. Isidor could play till next week and still not get a free kick. We were slow and laborious which infuriates the **** out of me. Anyhow **** it, tea biscuits and bed. Yes I’m old

Still think the ball went out from their player before the corner they scored from, but haven’t seen it back yet

Got to give players minutes to show what they can do. I actually thought Aleksic showed some nice touches against Millwall

Got to give players a chance to prove you right or wrong

I thought they were ok. Isidor got muscled out by an experienced CB and should have done better. We should have had a pen and VAR would have given it but it wasn't that clear.

Well and truly outmanaged to-night and the warning signs have been there for some time , We needed a set piece and attacking coach to help RLB not another defensive minded coach Watsons injury changed the game, but no leadership from the touch line was costly again. We can say happy with a point but three were there for the taking. Finally great goal by the super sub Roberts .

Another poor 2nd half, the bogey team do it again b City ****e 3 days ago like Coventry but still do us who next Norwich ? 1 win 8 and bad performances now, and humiliating watching corners the old 3rd division team were better than this lot, we need clarke and Henderson and a striker in January or a new manager.

Yet people will argue they’re all useless metrics when we were on the receiving end of them most weeks yet winning!

Just thought tonight was flat and reminded me of how we were at times last season. Watson was a real miss you can see the impact he’s had already. Loads of sideways passing and when we did get it forward we somehow ended up back with the ball at the feet of our CB’s so many times. Really frustrating night but the point takes something away from that at least.

Deserved to not lose that. At times though it was old Sunderland, sides ways, backwards then desperate. But they found a way through and that's a massive difference.

Game changed when Watson was injured. I need to see it back but on one live viewing I'm convinced that with var we would have had a penalty in that instance. It looked to be fully out of control and studs up. Hopefully not a serious one but my first guess is 8 weeks <laugh>

After Watson goes off we didn't seem to carry a balanced and consistent threat. Mayenda looked uncomfortable on the left but grew into the position and had looked a decent outlet on the right initially.

Their goal was a disgrace real pub league stuff but felt inevitable for a good 15 seconds beforehand. Roberts had frustrated since coming on and his goal came from trying something a little different by drifting left instead of staying wide. Similar to Watsons 2nd at the weekend.

    In summary
Ref was ****e and they were time wasting bastards

Well disappointed, relieved, frustrated all the emotions. Sitting opposite thought it was a penalty, their goal infuriating at our poor attempts to clear. Wilson please stay on your feet more. Game did change when Tommy went off.

    Positives

    Dan Neil
    Paddy scoring
Despite being poor at times not giving up
    Adil a nice cameo

    Probably everyone has covered negatives.

RLB still needs to be more proactive and on the front foot and we need to start converting chances

Anyway at least I am not as wet tonight

Showed glimpses first half but tbh I thought we looked poor once Watson went off. They pressed and showed more intent second half and I thought we struggled with it, inevitably they scored but it was poor defending. A couple of awkward deflections but plenty of opportunity to get the ball away. We looked to be drifting away to nothing but fair one to Aouchiche and Roberts, good play from Adil to draw the men and cut it back and to Roberts for getting plenty of lift on his finish. Put the game away in the bin with a point in the bag, poor but 0-1 after 92 mins you always take a point.
