I keep needing to remind myself, if somebody had said we’d be here at this stage of the season I’d have snapped your hands off. We’ve taken the excellent period and now we have to take the tricky one on the chin.

Awful second half but great work from Adil and especially Roberts to save the day. Great finish. Kept plugging away which is to our credit and Bristol defended really well but christ we can do better than that.

I feel like there’s something special happening here but the manager must be more trusting and in the same breadth we must get a couple more tools in the January window

we’re clawing back games and avoiding defeat whilst not being great. Just a little bit more from somewhere and we’ll be gold.

Def deserved the point as they were pish, however, we showed nowhere near enough quality to win that

The lack of proactive subs is a real concern for me - and I'm sick of mentioning it!! Adil gets given a chance and he sets up a goal, as @SourPatch2 said surely he should have more minutes by now

Neil was just different class tonight, ran the show and was pretty much a 1 man midfield as Jobe and Rigg were poor. Rigg needs resting as he's offering us nothing at all at the minute. Mayenda impressed me tonight, looks a real talent, just needs to improve that final ball

Def should have had a pen but not enough to win the game tonight

4 points from last 2 games is still good, hopefully do the same the next 2 games

That was very tired performance the midfield are exhausted, over the moon for Roberts and thought we’d nicked it at the death, credit to Bristol mind almost the perfect away performance, Samed was going nuts in the box in the south west corner when we scored

Take the point. Brilliant from Roberts at the end with his run, classy from Adil, and a great finish.

Otherwise very average performance. Neil easily MoM, Mepham good. Rest average at best. Fatigue I hope, but was needing more reaction from Regis to the change in momentum early second half. I am not an Adil fan, but Regis has to trust his bench players more or just take academy lads for the experience.

Rigg is last year's Jobe. Profile building to raise stock. Not a fan me, we need to protect him and also protect our short term results.

Jobe and Rigg definitely looked tired, Neil just seems to be going up a level or 2. Hopefully him and Jobe hit form together as they'll dominate most games

I don't mind giving younger players minutes and letting them play through poor runs of form but must take them off earlier in games when they aren't on it

Got to use the squad as I feel we have some real talent that isn't being used effectively

Thought Neil was very good again today, I also think i prefer Luke over Ballard we need to start trusting the bench, hoping we can get our business done early in Jan there’s a lot of games between now and feb

The experience and being able to handle the robust levels, and at 22 will keep him ticking over. Jobe and Rigg looked completely dead today. Slow and couldn't turn their legs quick enough.

Sure it will be the same midfield 3 on Saturday though...

Neil was unreal tonight imo. From a scouting point of view that is as good a CM performance you'll see at this level. Just had a bit of everything, he made a cracking overlapping run which allowed Roberts to cut infield before he scored as well

    cheers again RTB...

nee more of these type games man...why wait till the last 10 minutes to put some pressure on them, score five and have your half time break and then give us a nice easy second half for once.

a complete mix up of a game, it always looked as if they would score so i was hoping we would grab a couple for security but thier goal man, how often have i said we never get the bounce of the ball in those situations, poor alese had the ball kicked off him twice then it just rolls out nice to one of thiers, un-be-lee-vable.

dont care what anyone says, that was a pen to us, firstly it was a hand ball (pretty much like the two others the ref failed to give us) and he made no contact with the ball, i was ready to start hoyin abuse at the screen when he whistled, i was convinced he had given the pen...so no 'ref watch' from me, think it will be obvious what my thoughts are.

i know he came on as a sub (hope watson is just a precaution, the lad deserves and has earned his spot) but roberts gets my MotM, if he can keep the same form that he has shown the past two games and now he has his first from open play, i think he will offer a lot more for the rest of the season.

a good cameo from adil, still think he can contribute plenty more.
