Yeah not too impressed with that first half. Lots of ball, but nothing really in the final third. Wilson is not going enough again. Jobe needs to move it much quicker and stop thinking he has forever on the ball. We are the better team, should have had a pen but need to increase the intensity significantly.
I don’t think we’ve been terrible, we just need to be a bit more decisive in the final third. Some of the decision making from the young lads has been a bit questionable, but that’ll come with experience
Decent first half but nothing more. We have 10 minutes spells here and there but our final ball is never quite good enough. The deliveries don't have enough quality (they've been shocking in particular from Hume). Too many players need an extra touch or the pass goes just behind a player etc. Got to do more second half to get the 3 points.
Nothing wrong with what we’re doing but Neil needs to galvanise the midfield which isn’t organised … … I’d move Mayenda onto the middle. Jobe isn’t making an impression so I’d bring on Connolly.
Pretty pleased with that outside of chance creation. Some of the build up play has been a joy to watch, you can really see the combinations and the triangles that RLB speaks about. We really need to find a way to consistently create chances though. I'd bring Cirkin on ASAP, think he solves a lot of our issues here. Really enjoying Mayenda here. So raw but you can see that the fullbacks are terrified of his pace. Think he's slightly less dangerous on the left though. Sort the final ball out and we win this.
Been pretty good, but someone needs to inject a bit of ice into theme to be much colder and sharper at finishing/final ball. come on lads, don’t piss another one up the wall. Get ****ing on it
Playing pretty well tbh but just lacking that cutting edge in the final 3rd Mayenda really impressing me and Neil has just been on a different level so far Rigg and jobe been sluggish at time, they aren't moving it quick enough - Rigg has had a couple of class moments tho. Hume been poor going forward so us. We just need a bit more composure in the final 3rd and we can win this
Some good stuff, but not enough in front of goal. Def penalty for me mind. Again Neil is the best player on the park. He is controlling that midfield. I wish Rigg would play higher and Jobe stop dawdling on the ball, which is becoming a bit of a habit. Got to move it quicker. Watson was the big threat across the front. Mayenda hasnt looked as good down the left as he did down the right. Lost some balance without Watson. Loads of time left. Just need to get more bodies in the middle of goal. The balls in are coming.
Just to counterpoint the final ball not being good enough, the attacking movement could do with being be a bit sharper / better as well.
