Just gone through it, very typical and run if the mill sound bites that you hear at every one of these. Acun saying exactly what you'd expect him to say also.... Some claims of what we'll see tomorrow and the proof as always be in the results. Roll on tomorrow night
All generic stuff but Selles and Dublin both come across really well. I find it a bit odd that Dublin hasn't been wheeled out before now when he speaks as well as that.
There's been a few who can talk the talk, let's hope he can walk the walk and back it up. I have to say given the small snippets I've seen and heard of Selles he comes across really well, I'm hoping that he can turn our fortunes round, but also acknowledge the bloke has a mammoth task ahead. Whichever way it falls we need to get behind this bloke, we need stability, keeping my fingers crossed.
He needs to radically change the confidence of most of the players immediately. I think there will never be what we regard as stability under Acun, either for better or worse. He doesn't come across as that sort of owner who will be content with mid table results, so it will be all or nothing whilst he's holding the reins.
Much the same sentiment as myself.None of us can be sure how this is all going to pan out,he may succeed,he may not but whatever way it goes,we need a long term coach in place as we're fast becoming a laughing stock.
I agree, he comes across well, as does Dublin. I feel we are now in far better hands than we have been for some time, probably better than at any time under Acun (and further back too). I feel that in Selles and Dublin we have people who really do know what they're doing and what's needed. To me the future is suddenly looking a lot brighter .... but, unfortunately though we'll still most likely continue to struggle massively until well into next month, maybe even February. Expectation management needed. Hopefully we can look forward now to a serious go next season, injuries aside we have some very decent players to build on.
Clean sheet mentality, we have got to stop conceding and that’s how confidence his built. The time I’ve seen the heads drop when we go a goal down.
Exactly some may call it boring but if that's what's needed to avoid the drop so be it. If you don't concede you can't lose
Blackburn win away again at massive. Swansea win away at Plymouth....Luton last minute winner v Stoke.
I know what you’re saying, but that is an unrealistic hope A gradual increase in confidence over the next few weeks is realistic though I’d hope. TWT
We as fans don't need to be sucking any hope and increase in confidence tomorrow night, even if it gets a bit sketchy...
Just listening to the interview on Tigers+ Selles is very impressive, very good communicator, gets his points across very clearly without any waffle. Total opposite to Walter.
