This is kind of why we still need a 6. If Endo's not gonna get a game here then he's probably never getting a game.
There's some players that Slot just really doesn't like who were stars under Klopp. Endo one of them. I wonder if Endo has lost pace, or just doesn't work well with Slot's tactics. Slot obviously must have his reasons why some players are frozen out.
Endo was never great on the ball. He was very much a Harras and break up play then pass it to closest man and let them crack on Was fine for Klopp but slot wants that 6 to take the ball off the cbs and pass it around and travel up the pitch with it. It’s telling Endo has only come on for strikers to add extra depth in midfield for slot and not actually come on to play as the sole 6. I imagine if things are going ok he’ll get some minutes today though with Mac suspended for weekend still, those midfield 3 will need some rest
Looking very tired and out of ideas. Build up is far to slow and Nunez has not shown he should be first choice ahead of any of the attackers we have. Think we need Nunez off and Gakpo on. I am also drinking wine tonight so no lucky glass or beer. The team is going to have to do it on their own tonight

Well that was Insert whatever you like. Dull? Classic European away performance? Lucky? In the end we had a run around and again without macallister looked so open to the counter. They clearly wanted to sit in a low block and do a forest but alisson made several saves and then thry coughed up a pen. There's no point talking about nunez. The time for talk there is done.
Job done. Sounds like wasn’t fluent and brilliance and Alisson made some huge saves (great to have him back albeit unlucky for Kelleher). But 18/18 and bar some sort of miracle that is top 8 done and can in theory give some first team players a break in January after a busy schedule (plus maybe bed in some new ones?)
Nice to push Elliott out to rw and then sit Endo beside gravenberch and let Szoboszlai be Szoboszlai. Used the only 3 of the 4 subs whichbwas not expected. Gakpo, Endo. Elliott on but trent played 90. Roll on Fulham I suppose.

I do worry that in 10 games time, we’ll be running on empty. I hope this win gives us the platform to rest players in future games

Honestly I don't quite know why we bother with giving these guys the time of day round the club when they are and always are closet blues who don't mind one bit ripping into the club every chance they get. If you are a blue but played for lfc then be a blue Nobody cares. Don't pretend one thing cos it gets you more media gigs to have a go with.
