Saw him at Fer Ark against Spain way back when. Liked him so much my mum bought me a pair of his wipe clean plastic football boots. 1972 it was.
I really want us to be That club that looks ****ed but bounces back to comfortably stay up under a revolutionary new manager, like the wendies last season, but I just don't see it.
One night, a waiter was delivering champagne to Best's hotel room, only to be confronted by thousands of pounds of online winnings and the current Miss World lying on the bed. Without missing a beat, legend has it, he looked at the Manchester United icon and uttered the immortal words: “Where did it all go wrong?”
I don’t see why not though, equally. As much as some of the new players haven’t performed as we’d like - we’ve still got some solid players at this level to start winning some games against lesser opposition. If we can tighten up a bit and become harder to beat we might see points starting to filter through. I really don’t think much of the bottom of the Championship considering we’ve had such a poor season so far and one win could take us out of the bottom 3
TSFleming not included in U21 side today. Could mean he's been pulled into the 1st team squad for Selles to take a look? https://x.com/HullCityAcademy/status/1866467913063862783 Edit: Nathan Tinsdale and Sincere Hall too?
Just seen we can watch live. Late starting! https://www.wearehullcity.co.uk/live/videos/e6ffba3a-cd4e-4b9f-97ba-1deb3fe8006f
Fleming turned Ferriby down 2 weeks ago because he was going to Poland instead so I imagine it's because of that.
What are you saying here? That he turned down a loan move to Ferriby? To me that would seem a surprisingly low level for us to want to send him. And do you mean he wanted a move to a polish club or are you saying he went there on his jollies or something?
He changed his mind on a loan to Ferriby for a loan to Poland instead. Have you ever compared Ferriby to our 21s? I'm not sure it's the low level you think it is. There is some real quality in that comp, would be a great short term learning process for him up against men instead of little boys in the under 21s.
He can’t go on loan to a league club in Poland until January, so it’s unlikely it would have any bearing on him playing today, more likely Selles wanted to take a look at him.
Ruben Selles -'I hope you will see a team tomorrow who you can identify with and has the characteristics of what we want. Obviously it won't be 100 per cent, but we can be a good version of what we want to be. From the very beginning I am going to attack every game.' That's all most fans are asking for. Give 'em hell!
