One of the big criticisms on the pod was Walter not getting the structure of the side right to create good chances, and that Selles should be able to get more out of this group.

He's going to have to do what Rosenior did when he first came in. Sadly Selles doesn't have a big world cup break to work with them

But if we're honest, we created good chances in most games, we just couldn't finish them....

I don't know what the facts and figures equate to but I can't remember too many 'good chances' going a begging. We seem to build slowly, get near the opponent's box, then fluff it?

But I'd trust your memory a damn sight more than I'd trust my own at present:emoticon-0102-bigsm

I would posit that both your memories are fine.

We’ve created some good chances and then our finishing has been dire but also we’ve been incredibly frustrating due to the fact that promising moves breakdown too often before clear chances are created.

Bottom line is we’re **** in the final third.

    How to change that?

    Over to Selles.

The old adage… be careful what you wish for, obviously not you but others did, I for one thought he was fantastic on the occasions he turned up.

Was when I saw him live, towards the back end of his career. Never saw him in his brilliant years. I think I explained that, but it clearly didn't sink in.

Me too. I was more gutted when I heard he was leaving than I was when Greaves and Philogene went. I was certain Greaves would be gone if we didn’t get promoted as early as April and Philogene I was 75% sure he’d go too. Tufan leaving was a huge surprise to me. One of my favourite City players in recent years.

Just read a line on a Watford board, saying that Hull fans are, quote ' pining for Tufan to come back, things must be desperate'

Right now, I'm pining for Lassie to Come Home.

    Pandur
    Drameh jones Hughes Coyle

    kamara simons palmer alzate slater

    Bedia

got to try something and coyles played there before.
Could try omur instead of slater but need legs in the midfield
As much about not conceding as scoring currently
Pick your own forward all have glaring weaknesses. I went with bedia but willing to try Burstow or pedro

Saw him once at Boothferry and once with Hibs up here,by then his game was gone.

A genius in his day, untouchable, but sadly we know the rest.
