It's criticism for sure and it was due credit following good results and performance. To the blind faith brigade I suppose they would see it as flip flopping. So what was it under Pardew and Bruce ? It was hate and criticism no matter what the result. At least some managed to credit Bruce at times.
When it’s up one game and sack him the next yes it’s flip flopping. You’ll find someone to pick out for anything you want. In general Pardew wasn’t hated and criticised after every result and Bruce got support when he won. Some on both sides here also credited both at times.
Who's basing anything on one game though ? I think I said I'd like to see Howe replaced months ago and only if the right manager indicates he wants the job.... I could be right or wrong but that's my opinion in general. I made a thread asking if Bruce deserved any credit for finishing 12th and 13th and the prevailing answer was no... even when he won people were saying the football was crap and we should be top half with the squad he had. If all people is is criticise no matter what or praise no matter what that is insincere and worse than simply credit when due and vice versa.
It’s the toys out of the pram, sack the manager, after every blow that gets the criticism of flip flopping and bed wetting. Your problem is you blame everyone of doing what only some do. People didn’t want Bruce or like him but he did ok. Nothing more or less and had some disastrous runs but pulled it around. He wasn’t the one to take us on after the takeover especially with his results that season
Then it was toys out the pram when people criticised previous managers. The fans hated Steve Bruce and my problem was crediting him when due I guess. That's the thing I'm not just after people I try to be fair. Agreed Bruce was never going to be the one to take us forward and that's what myself and others feel about Howe now that's all.
It’s the sack the manager after every blow that irritates people. I credited Bruce when it was due as I do with all managers some of which are more likeable than others. They were all up against it under Ashley. I also criticise but not to sackable extremes too easily
Watching the U18’s v Brighton. Sanusi is lively, but flatters to deceive. There’s a lad called mills on the left wing who looks really good, got fantastic pace on him. Shahar is an absolute unit, great prospect at right back. 1-0 atm. Brayson.
Definitely on the left wing but drifting inside. Very exciting to watch. 2-1HT. Just googled him, he’s only 15!

Youth is the way but Newcastle are slow in using it. Perhaps it's the plan to bring them through soon when they have a cull in the first team ?
