Couldn't agree more OSV , and like I said , I have no idea if it’s what SR will aim for , it’s a bloody dangerous / stupid plan .
Some guy on SW said Vasco Matos. Probably bolloxks. Got his team promoted last year to Portugueses top division and currently Sat in 4th.
Sounds like a ****erson kind of appointment. I guess one of his left field punts has to work sooner or later?
Someone just mentioned him to that tit JTaylorITK on Twitter, who will now doubtless claim it as an exclusive in case it happens, and he can get more followers.
Highly doubtful, If the manager is correct it would have already been called by this random guy on twitter.
The original poster on SW, reiterated "Relax everyone, he's gone" 30 mins ago. They have really gone out on a limb for this one! Sure hope they are right.
The Portuguese league is really bad outside the top 3, probably League 1 level. Never heard of the manager but there would likely be a learning curve with better quality players and with so long left of the season could be a good appointment/disaster, doesn’t feel like there’s much of a middle ground. I’d imagine it wouldn’t be too popular with the fan base as well so if he is struggling after 10/15 games then probably be calls for him to be replaced for the promotion push, which I’m sure SR are desperate to avoid. If Martin does go whoever the replacement is they will want to be in charge next season regardless of the league we are in
Yeah I really hope it's not an unknown. In order of preference, 1. Moyes (I just can't see it though) 2.Robins (Probably comes for free) That's it really. I just hope it's someone we know, please no experiments.
I've effectively gambled £20 that SR will act today. Because the loser of tonight's game is surely done (or even a draw might do it for Lopetegui).
