I don't necessarily think we will start scoring loads. That's been our biggest problem for years. But I think that with that problem still existing, we should still be more than capable of being higher up the table than we are now. We finished 7th last season whilst struggling to score a lot of the time. I think we can relatively easily stop conceding first every game, start keeping some clean sheets and pick up more points much more regularly as a result. I don't think that just because we've found ourselves in a crap league position now that we should abandon all hope of doing any better.
Coyle needs repacing at rb and captain, if your stood in that changing room with the captains armband and your looking for a player who puts his body on the line and can lead this team out of the relegation scrap....who you giving it to? Im not so sure there is anyone
I think we can stay up But i dont think itll be anywhere close to as easy as youre making out Hope youre right though Winning games will be fun Especially at home
What's the fact we finished 7th got to do with this season? The squad this season is night and day from last season's in the final 2 thirds of the pitch. One was full of exciting talent that was on the up and had multiple individuals that could change and or win games and this season....... Well it's just laughable
I explained exactly the way in which it was relevant; simply that last season showed that you can be successful even despite having problems scoring goals.
It's even worse when you think 10 of them were in the 3 games we actually won. So basically 7 goals in 16 games
Very true, he has never let us down. He didn’t have much to front up to yesterday though, likes of Coyle, Maka, Giles, Slater all experienced heads all absolutely crap though
Played 19..10 at home 9 away. We've still got to go to : Sheff Utd, Burnley, Sunderland, Blackburn, Watford, West Brom, Sheff Wed, Millwall, Bristol City That's 9 of the current top 12. On current form we won't get many points from that lot. Therefore even if we beat the likes of Swansea, Oxford, Plymouth, Luton, QPR and Derby at home we're still going to be well short of 50pts. Requires promotion form starting on Wednesday to May. Gutted.
west brom have drawn 10 of their last 13 games.they've lost two of them and won one. guess who they beat...
If we want to stay up, we need to win home games. Most of our away games are against top teams and they will be more motivated while chasing playoff, let's face that fact and work our socks off at home accordingly.
Let assume, for arguments sake, we win the remaining 13 at home for 39 pts + 15 we have = 54pts...borderline...Therefore going to need 4 or 5 pts away.. Not fecking likely in any circumstances. But a target.
