    West Ham statement .

The thoughts and prayers of everyone at the club are with Michail and his family and friends at this time.

Not that it matters but Leicester score twice in the last 5 mins to draw level with Brighton and Ipswich concede in the 88th min against Bournemouth to possibly drop 2 points

Ipswich like us, as in, just can’t keep clean sheets.

Wonder if McKenna is in danger of getting binned

They've got a huge game next vs Wolves, followed by a bit of a nasty run of games.

If they lose to Wolves, they might find themselves still on 9 points by the time they play us on 1 February.

So in the same scenario as us then if they lose, no chance to survive anyway so changing manager could be pointless. I’d imagine McKenna is still well liked amonst their fanbase with the back to back promotions and probably not playing ultra ****ball like Martin does so he probably could see out the season, go down and still be in the job next year

Be interesting to hear what Ipswich fans think. From the outside, despite throwing it away today (Bournemouth are also just very good and would have been expected to win today anyway), it feels like he’s getting as much out of that team as possible. They were a league 1 side 2 years ago and even last season massively overachieved.

To be fair to him he has bought Ipswich from Div 1 to the premier league in 2 seasons. Got automatic promotion last season above 2 sides with a lot stronger squads than his. And he doesn’t play suicidal football week after week.

Yeah I expect he is still well liked but no idea. The only Ipswich fan I know expected them to be doing what we are doing this year (break Derbys record) but was fine with it as he felt getting promoted and parachute payments would set them up to be a yo-yo club who might stay up for a few seasons at some point. He definitely wouldn’t want McKenna sacked this season regardless of what happens

There's also the point that Ipswich targeted Championship players in the summer window. That was a clear indication that their board aren't against the idea of relegation. Build themselves an even stronger squad for next season than they had last season.
