The ref told him to cut it out. Brings a new meaning to the term, "Curl one in". Let's be honest though if you were playing against him you would have to give it a tug. If only to see if it went back to its original position. Like a coiled spring. He is an annoying little sod.
Back in the early 80s I played rugby against CIACs (multi-racial team from cardiff - great bunch of lads). Anyway, one of their guys had dreadlocks. Part way through the game there was a bit of shouting. He was at the bottom of a ruck and someone was stood on his dreadlocks, pinning his head down. Can't comment on how intentional the incident was.
He was lucky… my close friends daughter was involved in this on midweek and not so lucky You met her mum Andy
God Turk. This is awful news. We can only hope and pray that Charlotte recovers from her injuries in the best possible way. Sending you best wishes for a positive outcome.
Sorry to read that, and the post that followed. I know that stretch of road very well. Just north of Llanwrthwl bridge. A very long straight, certainly over half a mile. I stay in a cottage by the river a few hundred yards behind where the photo was taken. Have done each July for the last 30 years. The crash barriers and wooden fence on the right are on top of a wall that drops 20 foot down to the river where I fish. There are a few spots along that stretch that are marked with stones and pots where flowers are left. Sometimes tied to the barrier.
Very sad news. we can only hope that things turn out better. Regardless of the prognosis, keep hoping.
Awful news Turk. I hope Charlotte recovers. I was going to post an item on the Away from Football thread about our 36 hour power cut this weekend. That's all I will say. It is totally insignificant after Charlotte's ordeal and the trials she and her family are going through.
I was going to post a link to the damage suffered to the Liability Stadium but reading the post from Turk that would have been inappropriate. I can’t imagine what the family are going through. I echo Frankfurters wishes.
Oh gosh. I am lost for words, other than to say my hopes and prayers are for Charlotte and her family. Charlotte is in the best hands at UHW and they will do everything they can to help her.
Thank you all for your kind words and I really don't want to put a dampener on the mood of this site. At this point in time she's still fighting and I will update you as and when there is news I guess the surgeons would have preferred an easier jigsaw for Christmas But thanks again and lets get back in a festive mood And as for the council ground in swansea falling apart Nin'. I guess Lego is stronger than scrap metal Keep the faith guys
Hi all...I've deleted/edited the original post to this and I apologise for putting it up in the first place as I was angry and a little put out when a footballer goes viral over a damaged leg. This board doesn't need the depth of detail I posted as it's entertainment we are looking for not grim reading anyway thank you all for your words of hope and prayers but Chaz lost her battle yesterday with her family at her bedside Thanks go out to the amazing first responders the police and critical medical team, nurses etc, thank you all again and please accept my apologies R.I.P. Charlotte Beynon
Aw Turk, that is such dreadful news. I hope you find the strength and comfort to help you now and in the future.
