It’s an old fashioned concept I know but I don’t look at xG, I look at the result at the final whistle.

 

Thats why I said we were unlucky not to draw.

We didn’t do enough to win the game, but I think it’s very harsh to say a draw wouldn’t also have been deserved.

 

So you don't believe in any stats except for goals scored? Fair enough. That is pretty old fashioned, but I think even they would look at who had the most shots to determine who was the more dominant side.

Yes but there’s no point in looking at trends at the moment as the new manager is literally coming in next game.

Middlesbrough and Blackburn you can look at as one offs.

I wouldn't say kamara blasted it, I thought it was a pathetic half arsed attempt, not even sure it was on target.

 

Many of these players have played in teams doing better than we are now.

I think they’ve been made to look worse than they are and we don’t have a bottom of the league side. We’ll soon see and that’s my point.

 

It was also his ****e clearance, thought he was awful, but he wasn't the only one, we are in serious trouble.

And when you look at this picture...if Macca hadn't got it, one of two unmarked Blackburn players would have..

 

coyle and giles doing poorly, doesnt mean macca didnt do **** too
its his job to deal with crosses in the box and he failed

coyles positioning is woeful there too, hes let the blackburn player get goalside

but you cant stop every single cross coming in, they are inevitable

 

Blackburn showed in that goal build up , they moved the ball quick ran quick and knew exactly where their mates where . If we won that ball only two of ours would be racing forwrd , and we would still play it slower . Hope Selles gets them to look up and forward , it seems some are still in Rosie ball mode - Coyle , Jones , Macca Slater even Puerta has followed suit and he wasn’t here then .

 

people like coyle, jones, macca and slater finished 7th last season, becasue they had some genuinely good players alongside them
without that extra quality, our struggles are massively evident and their big limitations exposed

 

You don’t have to be the more dominant team when you’re ahead 1-0 and shut up shop.

 

I think we are still slightly better off than Towels were at this stage last season, yet they managed to survive. Selles has to get us winning games at home. If we can beat the likes of Oxford, Plymouth, Luton and QPR when they come here that will greatly enhance our chances
