Crnac our best rated player on WhoScored with 6.5? IMO Thorup has to take a lot of responsibility for that display. We looked like eleven players who'd only just met each other.
I’m sure we will find out from him after the game, felt like a few may have had illness this week to be off it that much. Fisher is the only decision that I would question really as I think a left footed player at left back is needed. The rest of the defence have played well recently, probably our first choice midfield, Sainz and Crnac have been our biggest goal threats, Marcondes has played really well since coming into the team and has played on the RW a decent amount in his career - him tucking in also suits Stacey’s marauding nature. For me a lack of energy and sloppy passing are to blame, although a decent ref may have helped with 2 possible inside goals chalked off and a handball penalty denied
Hit the post 2 disallowed goals & a possible hand ball penalty if V.A.R was used. The radio Norwich commentary team with Darren Kenton were joking about the team having a midweek works Christmas do . They looked hungover
I think they did have a Christmas do at some point this week, whether they were still hungover or not? Certainly played like it
That's about the most optimistic take on that performance. Do players not get flu jabs? McLean didn't mince his words afterwards: “The performance wasn’t anywhere near good enough. We did nothing to give ourselves an opportunity in the match. We played into QPR’s hands, and they did the job. I don’t know what we expected from a place like this. I think we expected to turn up and go and play the way we do at home sometimes with people giving us time on the ball. That’s not the case. It’s a tough place to come, and it’s like we thought we could do what we wanted at times, but we got punished. It’s not good enough, really. It’s sloppy goals that we continue to concede. We were so far off it in every department.” https://www.pinkun.com/sport/interv...ans-angry-response-norwich-citys-qpr-no-show/
