On reflection, are Blackburn the worst team we've played this season? How the **** they're in the playoffs I have no idea. Even teams near the relegation zone offered something for a half, but Blackburn were absolute gash, and we lost to the ****ers.
It shows how much a mini-run in this League can make a huge difference to your position in the table.I wouldn't judge either team on today's performance,it was touching on unplayable. If anything it maybe gives us some hope if we play on a nice crisp winters day,on a decent surface. In all honesty they'll know they've stole 3 points but they won't be in any hurry to admit it or give them back, nor will they be keen to give Leeds,Boro or Cardiff their points back either.4 wins in a trot is the difference between languishing at the foot of the table or sitting in the vicinity of the play-offs... We'd all take that touch of luck, wouldn't we?
Someone made a comment to me today that I thought nothing to at the time, but the longer I've thought about it, the more it hits home......they said "you have no winners or game changers in your squad" and I think that's probably the best description I've heard about us for a long time...
I put him in my top three because today he was 100% better than he has been so far. He actually touched the ball a few times today, took a couple of players on and had a shot at goal. Haven't seen him win a header yet but today he at least looked to be trying and that's why I put him in my top three and compared to Pedro he was like Chris Chilton.
I've got an unopened bottle of 100 proof Navy Rum in my drinks cupboard...Blow your socks off(if you wear any)
He passed on the Guinness in Ebenezer's as they didn't have any, he made do with 'gravy'. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily minem
It was one of the worst games I've been to for the cold today because of the wind chill, I had to leave early myself as I was genuinely concerned about getting ill. Full respect to everybody who went, even more those who stayed to the end, especially with some of the poor action going on .
I take my hat off to every single one of you,I probably wouldn't have ventured out in that today, infact I wouldn't have. Funny thing is,I had planned to come down today(though in truth I don't get to many nowadays),ready to hit the train button when my Mrs reminded me I had a prior engagement...Babysitting some of the feral younger grandkids(oh,that's ****ing great I thought as I sulked for half an hour)!! Never have I been so glad to be run ragged for 4 hours this afternoon, though I did manage to watch the full game on my T.V,cost me a tin of celebrations and a 6 pack of wotsits. A decent alternative to putting your life and your health at risk and a timely reminder that Hull City all-weather die-hards deserve much better than this, hopefully it comes
You dodged a bullet, there was only one train out of Paragon after the game, the rest were cancelled.
Very frustrating game, to dominate the shot count as much as we did and come away with nothing is tough to take.
hope you got home ok! but not surprised trains were off....winds were so strong, m62 and M18 were slightly scary to drive on, barely popped over 65mph on the way home
Do you think Bedia is a good championship striker then ? Or just that he's not awful , just not very good ? I don't want to pick on him in particular but we have no decent strikers
Thankfully I guessed it might happen and drove. Bit hairy on the high road between Bev and Market Weighton.
Didn’t think much to either winger and we have no pace down the middle, no wonder it’s a struggle to score.
