Is that one of the real reasons that Tan is no longer at the club? None of them currently measure up to anywhere near those valuations, so what went on?!

I said to my old man when he came off, that the call had come from upstairs to save Palmer for Wednesday to give Selles a better chance against Watford!

On 1904 podcast the Reading reporter said he had a player come to him and say I used to play RB or similar and it solved a big problem he had. Does anyone agree with his... We have no one on the left. Play both Giles and Jacob, both not very good at defending, but one is half decent at getting forward. Help each other out with the defending... or does his style of 4.2.3.1 negate that...

You'll like this, but not a lot...The blokes human, not a friggin magician. Not even the late, great Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee could save the Tigers from the drop.

I thought Hughes was naturally right sided as he is right footed.

Plenty of our fans have decided Giles can do no right and Hughes can do no wrong. Hopefully the new coach will have a more balanced perspective of their strengths and weaknesses.

I had them down as well drilled in the first half, long before they'd blagged the 3 points, they played as a unit,we don't.They certainly didn't deserve to win the game and if we had players skilful enough to stick the ball in the net, then maybe we could've punished them, sadly we don't and we didn't.

The league table reflects how good we are in general and in front of goal. We're struggling to put the ball anywhere near the net at the moment. We're some way off looking like a team that can put one in the net,3 would be a dream.

I live in hope,at this moment in time it's all we have?

Please Note; You will be surprised to learn that Magicians are Human Beings. Often under prepared and boring ..... this team can be saved from the drop!

    Cold - It’s a disgrace.

Step up man! With Hull’s great North Sea and even Antarctic heritage - it’s a disgrace that you didn't step forward to lead with a round of sea shanties and a rum ration.

    Next time Eh?! :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Bedia's build up play is actually quite good a lot of the time. The problem is scoring goals. He seems to **** that part up every single time, whether it's a poor touch, hesitating, not making a run, making the wrong choice, or just aimlessly blasting the ball miles wide as hard as he can. He ticked a few of those boxes off in 'Bedia Bingo' today. Pedro not much better to be honest.

Pretty much everyone other than Palmer had an absolute stinker today. We did look a bit better in general play, and it's alright saying we're using the midfield more now, but it makes no difference to the result as there are still too many unforced errors. We cock up at critical times again and again and it costs us again and again.

Some of these players need to start standing up and being counted. There don't seem to be any 'heroes' amongst them.

Still, it's not all their fault. The amount of players we overturned in the summer is clearly having a long term effect.

If we are to give Giles a run of games, we should give him freedom to get forward as much as possible and have the right-back tuck in as an extra centre-back in possession. Similar to what Rosenior did when he first joined by having Greaves at left-back and Macca and Jones as the centre-halves. On paper it was a back four but in possession it was a back three with the right-back pushing up almost as a winger. Same principle but just on the other side.

Coyle offers very little in possession. His decision-making with the ball and his crossing is so poor. Keep him back as an extra centre-half and push Giles up.

I went to watch Wicked at the flicks. Power surge knocked all the projectors out for 10 mins.

We got free ticket vouchers at the end which eased the pain & inconvenience a little but I missed the first half as a result.

Some of Coyle's crosses went into the box rather than off the pitch to be fair to him. Otherwise, I agree with all of that.
