But even the Leicester game was our 9th PL match of the season. The best time to sack him would have been after Wembley.
There’s a few around. You get the, “what’s the point of sacking him” “he’ll bring us straight back up” etc etc. Eat Sleep Repeat.
I thought 4-5 games enough is enough. He fulfilled his end of the bargain, but no more, so deserved a go. I think I said this around about then and some people said “you think 4-5 games is enough of a chance given he got us promoted?” Yes. Yes, I do.
See a few ITK’s are saying he’s gone on X. I really genuinely miss the old (actual seemed to know things) ITK’s
Oh I’m very much in the “what’s the point in sacking him camp” but I’ve never liked him, I wanted him sacked last season and after he got us promoted. Don’t think there is anyone left now who would be upset if we sacked him, it’s just far too late for this season
I'm one of those who (until today) was very what's the point in sacking him? That doesn't mean I'm a Martin defender, or a Martin lover. It's just an acknowledgement that sacking him is either too late for survival, or too early to prepare for next season.
None of them are particularly ITK from what i can tell. It's not the first time this season a load of them have starting baseless attention seeking rumours.
I agree players can adapt. But based off SR comments in various interviews, they want us to play a defined possession-centric style football, throughout every age group, and will hire managers to do that.
I to, personally think we have left it too late. He deserved his chance after getting promotion and I always thought 10 games would be a decent amount of time. But know it’s beyond ridiculous. It was clear to see then that he was never going to change and adapt to the premier league and he has been truly found out and his arrogance is unbearable. I would rather go down with a fight that leave this arrogant twat to carry on with his personal crusade.
