Palmer - easily our best player and should not have been subbed off Hughes - always looks composed Longman - Kamara should have gone off and Longman switched to the right for a while
Palmer Hughes McLoughlin. .. Slater and Bedia had decent games too. Thought Dawson made a mistake subbing our best player, Kasey Palmer and Bedia who was having one of his better games. Pedro did sod all when he came on so it was a bit pointless, and if you are going to sub both wingers why wasn't Jarvis on the bench? Over all I thought we deserved a draw at least. We didn't get the rub of the green today and Blackburn did with their goal. Its a cruel game.
The ref was good, glad he booked their lad for time wasting on the throw, but every time their keeper got it he held it for at least 20s, every goal kick took at least 30s....no different to what every team does when winning away from home....but an area for improvement for him....get the ****ing game moving!
Palmer - plenty of energy and had his shooting boots on , unlucky not to get a goal . Hughes - strong and robust at the back Slater - thought he did okay today , especially winning the ball back when we lost it . So frustrating today . The weather was awful so movement of the ball was going to be unpredictable. So why didn't we pepper the goal with shots and get plenty of crosses in . Come on City
