There a few you forgot... Drameh, Sinik, We were just saying. How many of our first team would get a game in any other first team in the Championship. And second, who in their right mind is going to want to come here in January.
I've been saying it a while now and I'm seeing nothing to change my mind.....Tim wasn't the right man, but he was only part of the problem, our players just aren't good enough.
Come On CHAZZ! I've read a lot of Kalman II's posts over the last few weeks - he's got to take some of the blame!
We played with more freedom but to be honest we could've played til the Watford team bus arrived on Wednesday and still not scored. Once again, we end up being beaten by a workmanlike, extremely mediocre, team and the MKM provides the setting for yet another set of grateful away fans to take the piss. The frustrating thing is, the standard of the Championship this season is poorer than it's ever been, which makes it even more unbelievable that we're propping it up. BUT if you can't score and can't keep a clean sheet there's only one direction you're going. Shopping list for January includes flight tickets for Omur, Bedia and Pedro. Welcome to Hull Ruben.
If you can’t beat teams with skill then you’d better be stronger than most we aren’t ! Alzate looks a total step up.
Maybe HE has to spend £15 million in January and 8888 the FFP. Stay up with a points deduction to start next season. But £15 million might not be enough.
Giles was decent in the first half, he's not popular on here though I know that. I can't believe Dawson replicated Walters tactic of bringing on Burstow as a winger instead of directly for Bedia. Also Kamara is just another Lokilo for me and it's a crying shame he didn't take that chance as it might have boosted him
Huffed and puffed today but just no quality. I know I’ve singled him out before but Kamara is a lazy, useless tit. He wouldn’t be starting for any other championship club based on his performances this year. LAZY.
Omur seems to be struggling this season, but he keeps being stuck out wide and last season under Rosenior he looked fine playing through the middle. I reckon Ruben will get him going again. Sinik we can't call because he's just been injured all the time but presumably he'll get a chance at some point if he doesn't splinter his pancreas or whatever. Bedia looks way off what we need, I'd send him back in January and get a proper front man in. We need some proper pace in the side, we're just so slow and ponderous.
I think the hype has got to him. We were spoiled with Philogene last season who is a genuine talent, we went out and spent similar on him and it hasn't worked out yet. I think Millar and Belloumi were right to start ahead of him.
I should be surprised at the negativity on here, but I’m not. As much as it wasn’t a good performance, I still think it was better than we’ve seen for most of the season so far. We actually looked like a team working together for a change and the use of the midfield was a lot better. Our attacking play of course needs to improve but we played a side at the right end of the table and more than matched them. In fact, I dare say we probably were the better side. Im so unimpressed by the quality of this division this season that I think it’ll not take loads to start to steer us back in the right direction. I thought Alzate looked very tidy when he came on and Palmer looked very bright. It needs some work and attention, but we knew that. Onwards from here.
Blackburn are proof how weak the league is this year, they were awful and they’re in the play-offs. That alone gives me confidence that with some motivation, confidence and luck we’ll be fine.
