I suppose the one positive with that is that I'm not worried about losing either of them in the summer. I can't see anyone paying what we would want.

Our promotion chances next season will be much greater with both of them still in the team.

 

The positive news is that we can confirm that Wood > Stephens.

I’m sure Martin had fun though. Good job we didn’t try to grind out a result there.

 

I just don't think it is that extreme tbh. The passing at the back is mental, but other than it's just a possession-based style. Most teams do it. But we really lack quality. Dibling and KWP are the only two imo who are persistently good enough.

 

Still very early days, but I've liked what I've seen of him so far.

If we didn't have Jack Stephens' no.1 fan as our manager, Wood would be pushing himself to be third CB after THB and Bednarek.

Yep. And THB in particular has a high ceiling. He'll be Prem level in a couple of years.

 

He might get Spurs next weekend, I am thinking if there is going to be a change they will let him absorb the remainder of the rough league fixtures first.

That is my extremely hopeful take on the reason why he hasnt been sacked yet, it would have just been an intolerable set of fixtures to throw at a new manager.

Dibling, KWP, Fernandes and Ramsdale are the only ones I’d confidently predict will be off, who we would want to keep anyway.

Im not even sure on Ramsdale tbh. Imagine we would want close to what we paid and that is expensive for a keeper if no teams really need one, which is why we got him in the first place. Maybe a return to Bournemouth seems most likely at this point

Personally I don’t care if people think RM will do a good job next year. After this ridiculous EPL 15 game showing, he doesn’t deserve that chance. I’m hoping they will but I doubt very much SR will make the right decision to bin him this week but maybe after the Spuds TV game. The fans will definitely be hostile. Edit: PLEASE be hostile.
