And for me that was his best game of the season , even the assist was probably genuine, at least he is not taking every corner and free kick now so thats some progress . <ok>
If he ever breaks his 18 month drought in front of goal he will merit player of the century for some , no doubt about it. <laugh>
Does his goal at Plymouth not count :emoticon-0136-giggl
If you mean in open play I totally agree with you <cheers>

Sunderland's Regis Le Bris:

"Players always need time to adapt. So far Tommy has developed very fast. We need that kind of profile. I like it. When you have a winger with the ability to run inside and outside and cross, it's a gift for a coach and a team.
"Now he will face the difficulties every player has to face such as consistency and needing to defend as well. There are many things to develop but it was an interesting game for him.
"He's very strong, he is a very good winger for this team and in this league. He works well and the system is well designed for him. We can use him very quickly and play to his main strengths.
"He's powerful, he can dribble, he can move inside and outside and he scored. Today he was very strong."

Cheers - just nicked that for the next match thread <cheers>

The potential of the ballard and mepham partnership is quality but I can't see how o9 can't start at the minute

Because they're better players, objectively, in my opinion. It's an easy decision to keep playing 09, he will always give 100%, he's popular and 7 times out of 10 he won't cost us. I'd hope Reggie is above easy decisions. Play your best players when they're available.

Roberts boiled my piss today absolutely shocking, I'm not sure if I was more pissed off with le bris for keeping him on or for Roberts for his absolutely shocking display.
That’s absolutely wild IMO. Roberts was drastically improved today. One of our most dangerous players all game. More games like that and nobody will want him dropped.

He is the most exciting forward to break through in years , my opinion , your remarks were well short of the truth at the time but crack on..

Watched his for ages in the academy mate. No all about him. I am excited about his development however, as I watched that game I was genuinely taken back to how he was taken off the ball so easily. Hence the comments. I'll always say what I feel at the time.
