Speak for yourself, I'll be leaving soon. Nowhere near as bad in Brum as other places anyway. Still only a yellow warning.
Can't see this going ahead given the forecast for Birmingham. The wind is only supposed to get stronger. If they are calling the Merseyside derby off, where fans don't even need to travel, i think this will go too. Many fans probably already on their way though.
Think it’s more the travel rather than actually at the ground. Imagine travelling up from Southampton takes you through some of the worst affected areas?
Nah it still avoids it all: Can't see them cancelling it on the basis of away fans travelling. Game truly has gone if so
Could be a good time to play Villa tbf as I can see them resting everyone after mid week game and having a CL game mid week next week. They’ll still beat us of course but can see them making about 8 changes
Yeah but weather is much worse there. Amber warning covers Merseyside whereas just a yellow warning for Birmingham.
Maybe. But it is pretty much the same weather in Aston at 3pm as Liverpool at 12pm - just more rain forecast in Brum. I hope it's on, partly for travelling fans, but also because for the first time this season I have a funny feeling we are going to win!
My phone went mental last night with a red warning of severe winds and it’s not too bad here, I guess the main thing will be if trains get cancelled
Oooh it's windy. Can't play football matches in a bit of wind. People don't have to travel but the vast majority still will. I repeat, game's gone if they call it off.
Just spent 5 minutes looking for my ticket before remembering I don't have it yet. Don't think I'll need sunglasses today.
Let’s just say we couldn’t get there. Take the 3-0 default defeat. Better for our GD than if we actually play the match
Don’t all rush at once… This is available in case anyone knows anyone. Free to a good home and can meet at Villa Park, I’m about 35 mins outside Birmingham atm
