In our house, I do the cooking so I do the shopping. Today, I've been accompanied by my good lady, as apparently Christmas is coming. I have two questions. Does anyone else's household buy the cat (or other pet) an Advent Calendar? Who in their right mind would make special Christmas Gingerbread Car Screenwash? Who in their right mind would buy it? Anyway, who would do football forecasts every week? The match with the highest total yield of points was the Super Match, Preston v West Brom, with 12. Even better, Musty and I shared the 12 between us. We both also got 6 scoring matches out of the 12, but Musty got two of his with spot-on scores and so was the week's winner with a total of 16. Joe got the goal time, which surprisingly didn't come until the 57th minute, closely followed by the second, third and fourth. Plym and Sensible are now tied on 190 in first place. Musty is still affected by his holiday in Bali, during which he missed a couple of rounds. How he must be regretting those weeks on that gorgeous paradise island (not).
Coming from behind is nothing new for an ex matelot. PLEASE NOTE THE GAMES AT CARDIFF AND ARGYLE ARE OFF AS AT 16:20 ON FRIDAY There are no jokers on those games as yet - if you have yet to do your forecasts, please don't apply one! I'm also cancelling the Goal Total bonus and obviously the Goal Time won't apply either.

I'm surprised no more games called off as yet......(1005am). Merseyside derby called off this morning. Surely more games will fall foul of the weather Surprised that Swansea are being allowed to travel to Luton.....seeing that fans will have to drive through a severe weather area to get out of Wales. Here in NW Kent it is dark...wet...with strong gusts of wind.......nowhere near as bad as western areas......but even here around London the wind would make it difficult to play footie.
I think I've got this right. Joe and Musty missed the kick-off for Burnley v Middlesbrough and the Cardiff and Argyle games have been postponed. The goal totals mean nothing as different people have forecast a different number of games. I could fudge that but it would then need un-fudging by Tuesday. Everyone has a joker on a live match. The Super Match is on.
It's a tight turnaround again, with the next round starting at 7:45pm on Tuesday with the Super Match in red. Here is the match text: Burnley - Derby County Luton Town - Stoke City Plymouth Argyle - Swansea City Portsmouth - Norwich City Sheffield Wednesday - Blackburn Rovers Sunderland - Bristol City Leeds United - Middlesbrough Cardiff City - Preston North End Hull City - Watford Millwall - Sheffield United Queens Park Rangers - Oxford United West Bromwich Albion - Coventry City To make up for it's loss at the weekend, goal totals will be on. You know the drill by now: add them up or don't, it doesn't matter.
