Joelinton is clearly better in the middle.. he's a bumbling big oaf in the final 3rd. Longstaff has no business getting in the team anymore and Gordon is left wing all day not right.
100%. I’d be really keen to see Willock RW. He’s similar to Murphy but just has a lot more quality. Just keep Isak, Gordon, Tonali, Joelinton, Bruno, and the back four exactly where they were on Wednesday. Joe/Joe can work, has worked well in the last, but it’s not necessary now. Just get a right winger and understand that we can have options from the bench. Only thing I’d say for Joelinton is he could fill in for striker.
Just a week ago you were moaning and wetting the bed that we didn't have any shots on target in a game and then you say this? Have people forgotten how awful he is as a striker? He's a battering ram. Has played some amazing games but his passing is generally woeful. He's Lobby's replacement on the bench for me.
Im ****ing sorry? I mean, what in the **** are you saying? Joelinton is a worse midfielder than Sean Longstaff? All I’m saying is Joelinton could feasibly make a good target man at times. Wetting the bed about not having a shot is a thinly veiled jab at Howe who would rather put Gordon at CF than try something different. And anyone happy about that Palace performance needs to stop and think.
I'm saying Lobby out of the squad, Joelinton replaces him on the bench. We get a much better player to replace him in the first team.
Think we’d struggle to get better than big Joe for all his faults. But thank god you weren’t suggesting Longstaff ahead of him!! The priority is RW. Schär is in the form of his life and needs replacing but not urgently in spite of chaos protests. We need Malick Thiaw in but first we need a player of Olise level somehow. Then get a GK in. We’ll get there.
