1 start, which was that awful 2-0 away at Bristol Rovers which I think was the last game before lockdown. Was there, probably the most toxic away end i've been in.
My memory is that I was at a game when he came on, looked fast and aggressive and different to everyone else we had at the time, never saw him again. I'm not saying they're the same but Bennette is a bit like that, I always like the look of him but it's pretty clear he's not going to have a career at Sunderland.
Bloody hell can't have anything in this game! Those lot up the road nick the idea of the flags from us and Burnley have now nicked the light display before a match!
I've been to Burnley a dozen times, since the 70's, and never seen a local with a full set of teeth or without a clubfoot ... ... it could be poor diet, years working in the mills or just good old fashioned inbreeding. Fair play to Sky, they're giving a prize to the first viewer to spot someone, from either club, who doesn't look deformed in some way ... ... I've been watching the build up and haven't had any luck yet but I'm an optimist and pretty quick with the freeze frame
It's like a Sunday League kit that's been boil-washed for twenty years ... ... like the one I used to wear for Bracken Park
Boro are good mind. Took them a while to get going this season but I think they are right up there with the best in the league. That's what years of good player trading and a coach and those above him with a philosophy gets you. Hopefully we are on our way to that.
I think we are, we had to start all over again when KLD came in and it takes time to get all those things in place - we seem to be getting it right
I agree as well. I take far more interest in the various areas of SAFC (first team, u21s, u18s, Lasses team etc) than I ever have before. Rather than looking at the top end of the Prem, I prefer to focus on us. I very rarely watch the build up to the "Super Sunday" bollocks and all the bullshit that goes with it. Quite often, I've watched the lasses games on YouTube instead of the Sky games. Apparently Rodri is injured for Man City. I couldn't tell you what the injury is or how long he's out for, and; quite frankly I couldn't give a ****. (Apologies for swearing )
I agree with all your post but the highlighted bit in particular ... ... it's worth checking the 'reserve' teams because there's clearly a plan. Have we ever had that before, I don't think so tbh.
