We have a few on here the worse for drink tonight. In the past it was to drown sorrows, tonight may be about happy people.

That's tomorrow for me Syd. Got the match on FoxSports (which is rare for a sunderland match!) so going to get a few cases in and drink them all in one hit. But as you said.. it will be for happiness rather than to dull the pain of watching us fail miserably under Bruce.

    Weekends are for footy...

    Watched the mags get beat..

Just watch the future champions win 5-1 against Norwich..

Now try and stay awake for Man U..

Then tomorrow do it all again,...

This is the best possible outcome, we needed a big name to raise our spirits and we're happy campers again <ok>*

Been out with some mates from the "old" days Syd, we used to go to away games together then.
Was a good boy got my son to drop me and pick me up.
    Still managed a gallon. :p

All of us smiling about SAFC's future now that Bruce has gone.
We were being rather loud and had an old guy shouting at us we should be ashamed of the way Bruce was treated.
Cue the 5 of us reeling off a huge list of facts on Bruce's failures.
His final response, "Well he seemed like a nice guy!"
Which not one of us disagreed with.

Couple of them were going to come back to mine to watch the Villa Utd game.
WOrst thing ever invented mobile phones, both them captured by their ball and chains before they could escape. :p

So just waved the boy off down the City centre with his mates, I'm still smiling.
Glass full of Glenfiddich and all is well with my world. :)

I'm another one who's looking up the table now. It's a nice change.
