9th place Norwich travel to QPR on Saturday. The Hoops sit a place above bottom and are the only team in the Championship without a win at home all season. Recent results: QPR L L D W D Norwich L L D W W Our current improving form and key players back from injury gives me hope that this will be another opportunity for City to bag three points, and historically Norwich has had the upper hand in head to heads - 52% wins, 34 % draws, 14 % losses. Another great thread China and let's hope your run goes on and on. As for team news, Córdoba has been training all week so might be included, probably on the bench. Three games in 9 days will mean managing the minutes of players newly back from injury.
Squad update **UPDATE** My biggest concern was JHTs mention of illness in the group, no specific players mention but a potential risk to players not being available on Saturday. McLean - 1 yellow card away from another game ban Nunez - BACK - JHT not ruling out a start for him but wants to manage minutes across the midfield over next 3 games Cordoba - BACK - Has trained well this week, JHT hoping to limit risks with him, so maybe on the bench. Forsyth – OUT - knee - 2-3 more weeks out, pictured back on grass today Sargent - OUT - Had surgery – 4-5 more weeks out, pictured can in grass today Gibbs - OUT - 10 weeks with a reoccurrence of the hamstring issue that took him out from the start of the season
Fun fact Since @chinacanary took the wheel we have become the highest scorers with 10 in our last 2, 12 in his 3 games. Also my ocd was going to remind him that there's no poll , but my superstition prevented me . Hopefully I haven't jinxed it
Gary Gowers' take on the game tomorrow: https://norwichcity.myfootballwrite...when-on-the-rise-hoops-meet-buoyant-canaries/
Gary Gowers strikes a cautious note in his preview of the game. I didn't want to mention the #alongcamenorwich affliction BUT I want to dimiss the pessimism. I've predicted us scoring 4 in the prediction league (and of course conceding too). 12 fellow predictors have also gone for a win with only one opting for a draw. The posipredictorometer (TM, patent pending) is maxing out. C'mon City!
There is time to amend your prediction to join us positrons (have I just made that up?). Edit:- positrons are emitted in gamma-ray flashes created by electrons.
Marcondes as AM, with Slimane on the right would be my guess. Sainz and Marcondes are developing a good understanding and I'd imagine Thorup would be keen to keep that going.
