Even a Republican attorney general said both of these charges would have been dealt with as misdemeanours if they were for any other US citizen. So yes, I think it’s fine for him to have been pardoned as it was a pointless political witch hunt. For the supposed other crimes he has committed, including the infamous laptop, Republicans have led investigations for pretty much all of Biden presidential term, led by Comer. They’ve yet to find any evidence with all of those powers, so forgive me if I’m sceptical around any wrong doings. Having said that, if these photographs prove he is guilty then the nonce needs locking up for a very long time.

Obviously the Lib Dems want proportional representation as they have no chance of being in government by first-past-the-post. In four years time Sir Keith Stalin will be all in favour of proportional representation when his disastrous government is about to be kicked out but a Labour/Lib Dem coalition would keep them partly in power; and lock out the Conservatives and Reform. That is why the Left like PR as it allows the rag bag of different loonies to get together and ‘win’. Imagine a coalition of Labour, Lib Dem, SNP and Greens.
