Well that was probably the most apathetic I’ve heard a St Mary’s crowd in quite sometime. No one seemed to give a **** as soon as the second half kicked off and after the performance it is just so difficult to remain optimistic and cheer. When you’re making the exact same mistakes every single game, what the **** is there to cheer for? Also somehow the security even were made to look incompetent because of the fact that guy was allowed on the pitch for that long is a complete joke. The club really is **** top to bottom at the moment,
I left after the 4th and it felt very busy getting out. There was nothing to stick around for. As someone said on the way out, probably wouldn’t have been as bad on Saturday but you’re asking a lot on a rainy, cold Wednesday night to stick around for that ****.
Can't fault the effort of the players tonight when many are Championship level. Media keep saying Martin struggles due to our teams lack of quality which may be true but the reason I want him gone is because the same mistakes keep being made - goals concedes from pointless passing and set pieces. We started well and gifted Chelsea a way back in. Then a stupid red card.
All 4 goalkeepers make the exact same mistakes. Many of our goals our conceded the exact same way, it’s not coincidence anymore, they are clearly being told to play this way.
More people need to do that, sends a message. Surely the club must act now? The fans are taking the piss in chants?
It’s getting to that definitely, the next game isn’t going to be very pleasant at all, more than usual tonight you could tell everyone is unanimously completely done and fed up with the same mistakes from the back.
Yup. Macca throwing the ball out early against Brighton was such an odd error for an experienced keeper.
Lumley took a quick one today as well when we were 3-1 down and passed it 5 yards to Wood when all the Chelsea players were in our box. Clearly being told to do it, but you have to think they can use their brains occasionally aswell and some game management should come in

Maybe it’s a form of protest? Do they enjoy playing this way? They know we’re finishing bottom. Maybe they are being deliberately stubborn like Martin himself?
Well all the noises coming out are that they do enjoy playing like this. Surely comes a point though where they get bored of losing every week, but maybe not
I think it is a conspiracy. Everyone haas been told to tell Martin how well we play so they all have 2 easy games this year
