I'd be telling him to foxtrot oscar if I was Acun, but I highly doubt it's true. He'd made it clear even before Tim was sacked that he was interested
Is that really true though? I mean, an interview for a known, respected manager must be a two way thing.. discuss ambitions, budgets, time periods, expectations etc so I couldn't see why he would reject that. Obviously different for a manager with no experience at the level or size of the club.
I wonder if Kasey Palmer would be pleased to see Mr Robins rocking up at the MKM as the new manager ?
Seems a bit up his own arse, why should he not expect to be interviewed like everybody else. Nothing against the bloke personally or his ability but if you are about to pay someone a stack of cash and back them in the transfer window, surely having an interview is Standard.
Absolute premium grade bollocks from Nixon. Suggesting Robins doesn’t want to tell the chairman what his vision and demands are. Risible.
Re Robins, I was all for go and get him, BUT, I would want to know who his coaching staff are. Seems his right hand at Coventry helped him enormously and left which may have led to his demise... I wouldn't want AD as number 2 or 3 or 4..
