This is the guy who posts about how people shouldn't be upset by football results because it's unhealthy. Probably a fair point but then to have such an aggressive obsession with a harmless local journalist kind of contradicts it.
Mason Burstow interview in HDM about Walter today very interesting, says he was 'odd' and didn't listen also refusing to play him in the right position. I really feel Burstow should be given a chance as 9 for at least the next month and let him get a handle it, he has to be a better option than the old fella and Bedia
Another telling interview. I thought what he was saying was far more than just a young lad not happy because he wasn't getting picked, especially when coupled what is (and isn't) getting said by others. Walter sounds like he was a bit of a knob tbh. Not sure though whether it should be Burstow or Bedia that's given a decent run. So long as it's not Pedro.
Though agreeing with you, it would be a marked improvement. For anything to be ****e, it has to exist. Our defence doesn't.
Yes he’s not physically strong enough to play centre forward Yet He even says he was for the future It’s piss poor whinging in the press
Fair to say Walter has been an unmitigated failure. Wants to bring in his philosophy of all out "heart attack" football, but then doesn't communicate with his players (Slater comments in interview) Doesn't try to build a bonded and united squad (which was Rosie's culture), instead is aloof and sees himself as the "alpha" (his assistant comments, and info that Daws was used to.pick everyone up for minor When his vision is failing, blames players and fans, not his own failings. Doesn't change anything, instead devalues his own players (reading between lines of Palmer and Burstow comments). I certainly don't think we are a lost cause this season, we looked better yesterday but was undone by a good team. The right manager coming in could get a tune out of what we have and see us middle table or slightly higher. - Play a defense focused on defending - Play Coyle and Giles as full backs with instructions to cross from deep (occasional overlaps when we have control of games) - play a double pivot with a fire to move ball forward then control possession in opposition half - free role for no 10, when attacking, press when defending. Either side wing forwards to come inside and drive at defences on attack, and to drop to a second block of 4 (with Double pivot) Basic, simple football to start with then develop as confidence grows. Big question is who could deliver that
