So after being 2-0 up, it seems like Wales is finding new ways to break my heart. Though sounds like it was a good result ultimately, like the Leeds draw back in August In another life I would be writing this post on the train back to Cardiff. Or perhaps having dinner at Pizza Express before heading to the travel Lodge
Considering Swansea's domination of possession I think we must concede we were lucky to get a point despite having been 0-2 up at one stage. Murphy (first half) and Schmid were our stand outs and Devlin put in another rugged performance at RB. He is not a tall man but he doesn't miss many defensive headers. I find it hard to accept that Pack is a better cental defender than McInyre. A further consequence of playing him there is that when our mid field pair tire in the second half, as they did, we do not have a defensively reliable substitute. Kamara is a good mid field substitute when we are chasing the game but always appears to have a mistake in him if we are hanging on for points. As a 'left field ' suggestion it has occurred to me that Kamara could be a worthy substitute for Richie (when Richie tires) He would certainly inject energy and skill even if somewhat out of position.
