Unbeaten in three games against Leicester, Spurs, and Manchester United - is it possible we're stepping up to the intensity, tempo, and quality of the Premier League? The three consecutive defeats we suffered in a wretched October appears to have been put behind us. McKenna's team - so used to competing for every point in back-to-back automatic promotion campaigns - hopefully have the innate mindset required to scrap out of the bottom three and not let a potentially close race to the finish put them off.

Away at Nottingham Forest would've been seen as a fixture with a decent chance of points in the previous two seasons. Not so much this year though. Although they're coming off two consecutive defeats to Newcastle and Arsenal, Forest have been one of this year's most surprising teams as they previously reached as high as third in the league table. A crumb of comfort for Town is Forest's home record - 6 games - 2 wins, 2 draws, 2 losses.

Chris Wood will be their dangerman - a ruthless eight goals in 12 games. Then there's the attack of the double-barrelled surname midfielders - James Ward-Browse, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and - if fit - Morgan Gibbs-White. All good players at this level and all capable of bending a game to their will when they're on form. Anthony Elanga - the latest 'former Manchester United wonderkid' - has found game-time at the City Ground. Forest's transfer policy is slightly similar to ours in that they'll take a chance on younger talent that has the potential to perform consistently in the top flight with a run of games.

At the back, Forest have been decent too. Matz Sels in goal seems to make several top saves every match highlights I watch on Match of the Day. Ola Aina and Murillo usually look good in defence.

It's going to be a tough match and potentially one that will drag us back down to earth. I'm not too optimistic here - a narrow 2-1 defeat against Forest.

1-1 and then a win against Palace get our average up to 2 points per game for a bit.

Four wins on the bounce for Town takes us half way up the table. 3-0 Ipswich.

I love all this positivity, and barring more injuries, we do have a nice run of games where we can reasonably hope to pick up the points we actually deserve.

Beating Spurs and a convincing draw with Man U shows the world that we truly belong at this level.
If we can get some wins next 3 to 4 games under our belt, then I am confident that we will stay up in the Prem.

I find myself shaking my head in wonder and disbelief. 2 years ago we were in Leage 1.

Gonna be a very entertaining attacking game, but ultimately will be a backs to the wall 0-1 win, with o'shea scoring

Decent first half, weathered the early pressure and played alright after that. Hoping to win the second half and take all three points.
