We should hold out for £61m. Not a penny less. Show them we mean business and won't be taken as a pushover.

    £100m?

So £400m+ worth of (amortised) transfer kitty instantly. Not bad for bolsa wood.

    Gamechanger.

    Always a silver lining.

Overpriced and the wrong profile. He’s alright/good. The words were already there.

If we sell Almiron in January and get a new right winger in, I guess you'll be wanting to change your username.

    Almiron will always be GOAT.

BTW apparently not much money in Jan, so what happened to the 70m we were just about to spend on Guehi?

If we get a 100-110m bid for Isak I'd consider it a fantastic deal tbh. He's absolute quality on form but he's inconsistent and injury prone.

I really hope they don't give this manager any more money.

So that Howe can get his man Lewin and Mbeumo.

We're literally 1 more Howe spend from being the next Everton.

We're in trouble I think mate

I'd rather be looking at dibling or Hutchinson personally.

This set up and this manager are starting to create big problems because the squad is massively unbalanced and just lacks any real guile, flair and quality in almost every area of the pitch.

I'm genuinely worried and if the next few months don't see a huge slide in the wrong direction I'll be very surprised..... it's not even a wind up it's what I really think based on the football I'm watching.

I genuinely hope this manager is given nothing in January... he wanted these players and were not seeing a shot on goal at this point.

that has absolutely nothing to do with rw or any other position .. it's a bigger issue across the entire side.

Howe suggesting we can’t spend again in January.

We won’t sell anyone to free up funds.

It’s going to be a long season.

    Why don’t we loan players?

Like I said previously I'd rather thehy didn't spend anything more under this manager and coaching staff until they can demonstrate what they're doing with the players they've already signed.

Apparently we have ended contract talks with Isak. Anyone know anything about this?

We had a contract on the table he wouldn’t sign it. So we have removed it.

Arsenal bound maybe to free up funds?

The players came to Newcastle thinking we were the next big thing, but the sad reality is we all got told we were getting on a rocket ship by Staveley and the truth is we're not able to compete.

I fell for it myself, but when they started getting hard ball on ffp and sponsorship and when the club and manager changed their tune I accepted we're not really any different to most clubs now outside the top 6.

We have to be grateful that we have a club that tries and that's the bottom line, but the drawbridge is up and that's that... it's better than Ashley's reign and we'll have good seasons here and there with an outside chance of a trophy in them ...that'll do.

Fortunately you are not running the Club as such a policy would be ridiculous. If the Club have not sacked him then they should support him. If they don't trust him then they should sack him.

Two games ago just about everyone on here was in agreement that Howe should continue after having beaten Arsenal Chelsea and Notts Forest. Two games later we are seeing once again a knee jerk reaction from a few posters epitomising the fickleness and self entitlement that exists in too many fans bases these days.If it was accepted that he was doing okay two games ago how does one home loss and one away draw suddenly nean EH should go.

We have not had a good start to the season generally but then EH has hardly been backed well in the last two transfer windows, has he? If you don't continually invest in the playing staff then you go backwards which essentially is what is happening to us at the moment. Pretty obvious. To then hold the manager to blame is just downright stupid.

Firstly I never said I was running the club... your spite won't change my opinion either.

It's fine you don't have to agree.

Firstly, I never said you did run or were running the Club. I just pointed out that that would be a stupid policy if those running the Club followed it.

Secondly, no spite on my part. It's simply an obvious, logical point made expressing my opinion. Seems you don't like hearing other people's opinions if they are contrary to yours indicated by claiming it's "spite".

You made an arsy comment just own it and you like I've said have an opinion nothing more.

For clarity it's actually you not liking my opinion hence the references to it being stupid, fickleness, entitlement and owning the club. I sir said you're entitled to not agree, so there's some food for your thoughts folder's.
