Why are people having a dig at Danny? He's our top scorer, and holds the ball up well.

SOme Swans fans bemuse me, they really do!!

Routledge put more quality balls in the box in one half than Sinclair/Dyer have done all season......

Thought Luke Moore gave a good contribution & was trying to be inventive too!!

Agree about Routledge having more end product, I think he should've come on for Sinclair personally.

Disagree, as much as Sinclair is really pissing me off at the moment, Dyer was the correct decision. I think he's immense overall as a player for Swansea City!! But sometimes, you've just gotta do the basics & that's putting decent balls in the box!! It's not as if he can offer us goals instead.....

WSAF is right. Dyer has all the right moves, but he can't put a quality ball into the box and hardly puts the ball into the net. Maybe try Sinclair and Wayne next? Wayne plays some great balls int he box (Lead up to Sincalirs miss of the season lol).

Sinclair is trying too hard to score himself. When sometimes there's a square ball on to something in a far better position & he blasts it instead!!!!!! But at least he's still making some runs & getting shots on!! Who else get's any shots on??!!! Then again, like Dyer, his balls into the box are woeful....

Yeh I'll go with Sinclair & Routledge next. Dyer needs to reassess what he really offers!!!!

We desperately need a midfield play maker. Someone with drive, invention, grit & knows where the goal is. Where the feck are the Bodde type's we need....

I'm not a real big fan of Gower. Fair do's the guy has sort of re-invented himself in the central role. But apart from an assist every 4 or 5 five games, I continually struggle to see what he offers!! He'll not be dropped, especially with Little Joe suspended. So continue to start he will!!!

Dobbie, well I was all for his inclusion earlier in the season. But even though he's had very little 1st team game time, I'm not sure he'll deliver after all. He certainly knows where the goal is, but unless he gets a regular run he's not going to get the sharpness needed!!! The Premier league is unforgiving as we know, I just don't think he's going to get the time!! I watched a few reserve games down Llanelli, he does well in all & scores, but I feel the step-up to the 1st eleven might be just too much.....

Has anyone noticed that when Dyer or Sinclair get to the byline or going to make the cross, theres no one F*****g there. Graham works his nuts off, as do all our strikers, but we need numbers in the box to get crosses in and turned into goals.

we are on the slippery slope and it dont matter if we play danny, leroy or moore, dobbie or any other player we are still going down.... we are not premiership standard, we will never will be premiership standard not with the players we have, its as plain and as simple as that, so unless big changes are made just enjoy the season while we are here and witness some great proper premiership sides when they visit the liberty........i will...<ok>

Strange how tippy tappy run around and look busy but deliver nothing Routledge is now the saviour ! I think the guy had unfair stick, playing in a new team in an unfamiliar position was a big ask, its obvious now that he is a good addition, if played in the right position.

Truth is though we are lacking in guile in the final 3rd, Blackburn away showed us up for what we are missing in our team, a real eye opener for most of us and a warning that if we do not gamble and strengthen we will go down, if we dont want to gamble then sell some players in January to get the over inflated transfer fees but lets not fall inbetween two stools and do neither!!

You can have the biggest, most powerful, most accurate gun in the West, handled by the man with the fastest draw. But if he hasn't got any ammunition for said gun he's no damned good for anything.

Don't blame Danny or Lita or Moore because they are honest hard working professionals who would love to score but are being given NOTHING TO WORK WITH. It's about time our much lauded midfield started doing something other than passing the ball amongst themselves - or backwards!

They have been in a comfort zone preening themselves with Buck and the media's praise but now we have arrived at the first real business of the season, we need much more from them. More in terms of goal creation and goal threat. That they tend to sit back, imo, is to protect Monk and his lack of pace. If Monk can't cut it then cut him and try different options. Misguided loyalty is the last thing we need right now. What we need are more goals and more "Ws" and we need them fast.

This is not a panic post, there is much to play for and we can still comfortably avoid the drop but we need to start remembering again that the way to win games is to score more goals than the opposition. The way things are shaping is that we could become the team with the highest passing stats ever to be relegated!!

Please, more urgency, more penetration, more support to our starving strikers and we will be fine. Just a 10% improvement in those areas should do it. Easier said than done, I know, but it has to be done. I suspect that the patience which Buck has praised we supporters for is slightly on the wane. There is good reason for it.

well ts funny how Ivor as posted nearly word for word what i have been saying for weeks and you all said i was wrong..<laugh> and this is not me being just dai it is me in the real world just like i always am, us old hands can actually see through the trees and the false praises that are said every single week on here and in the E.P.......Ok no manager will ever rubbish his own team but he will make comments like "we need 4-6 players"...."We need to put strength and depth into the squad" etc etc etc, so while he i not blaming any individual player he is indicating they are not good enough. He (brendan) is not stupid he knows we need better players so im going to be fascinated by how determined the club is in backing Brendan in january. There is so much at stake plus the future of the club that they have to back him, nothing else will do......

Dai, I was saying this again and again when we were in the Championship. What is so concerning is that the same problems still exist. We knew that our style, emanating from Sousa, was designed to protect our back four - part of the reason Dorus had so many shut outs. The trouble was that our strikers suffered from lack of service because of it.

Sinclair's goals last season turned things around a bit and, of course, Pratley helped with double figures from midfield. Anyone see that sort of return from a midfielder this season? Of course the standard is higher now and, in fairness, the boys have done well. But we need more and Blackburn was a sharp reminder of that.

It's still all there to play for and if we can fine tune some aspects of our game I'm sure that we will survive. Quality/experienced signings are a must and I, like Dragon, would love to see Borini here. Don't think that will happen, though.
