Yeah I’d go for Gomez, has been solid when called upon and is an experienced head

I'd take a draw right now.

People are way to dismissive of city. It's classic set up territory in the media to go tear into us if we lose.

Gomez came on at cb for konate when vvd stood on his arm and was excellent.

But it's a bit.much to ask him to play rb and cb in the one game when trent goes away.

"experts" all seem to be claiming a Liverpool win, but City can't go on losing forever. I'm optimistic but not taking anything for granted. This could be anyone's game.

Should City continue to collapse, it's definitely not our title for sure. Bit unrespectful of Arsenal if nothing else. City arnt the only team to worry about

I don't like situations like this. I don't like being favourites, it adds pressure. And, like you say, Man City won't stay in bad form forever.

However, it's also a great opportunity to open up a comfortable gap from them and damage their moral even further.

Yeah, I was having a bit of a brain fart as I wrote that. I literally paused for about 30 seconds on that word thinking... This doesn't seem right. i had been awake for about 48 hours and not thinking when I wrote that.

I actually think there's also a lot of pressure on Citeh to not at least lose.I'm hoping they fall to bits and by the end of the match Peps face looks like he fell into a hawthorn bush.<laugh>

Yeah but not the critical ones. Just the nearly critical.

City can't replace stones, rodri or Dias (we will see if he plays)

We still have vvd, gravenberch, macca and salah firing away

We now have zero full back cover with a dodgy hammy on trent. Quansah appearance is extremely likely after today.

Jones is an attacking cm. All his better performances come there.

    Endo is no replacement either.

We will see about jota and chiesa and alisson shortly.

    All should be back soon

Nunez on the bench, does this mean Diaz a centre forward?
