Do yellow cards carry over if transferred? If so Hughes has 5 albeit 1 was in League 1. Will that mean he’s suspended?
Like idea of shoring it up with a back 5. 3 CB's (Jones, Hughes, Macca) with licence to go on Maguire runs With Drameh (or Coyle) and Giles with licence to bomb forward when attacking. Can't really afford two out and out wingers atm. So, probably Kamara out wide, switching wings. Palmer has to start. Hopefully Alzate can at least play a part as I feel there's a key player there for us. I don't see much point with persevering with 'ooh almost' Pedro. It surely has to be one of Bedia or Bustow. Will be interesting to see if Jarvis comes back into the fold from the cold (I'm a poet and .....). Still, can't see anything other than a comfortable Boro win ... but you never know. Bit of a stinker for Daws 1st game back in temporary charge.
At some point I’ll look into it but I’m pretty sure he’s started on the wing the majority of this season and when he has been put centrally, only one winger has been on the pitch, so he’s often forced out wide, where he has no real pace.
They must do. I've not seen any mention of a ban, but maybe that's because people haven't clocked that he's got 4 plus one at Wigan.
Longman's last run of good form for us came under Dawson, so will be interesting to see how we line up.
Assuming he's not injured I think he's simply a starting player right now, almost regardless of manager.
Never have and still don't get the love in for Omur. He always looks busy but there's just not end product.
Pandur Drameh Jones Hughes Macca Giles Puerta Slater Palmer Bedia Pedro I want alzate with Puerta when he’s fit and maybe can adjust the front 3 to work Kamara in but the back line id love to see
I think it's a bit risky going 3 at the back at this stage due to the unfamiliarity. I think sticking with a shape similar to both LR and Tim used is best but just having a more disciplined approach to it. Pretty much a repeat of what he did last time as caretaker.
And tell the players they are allowed to go into the exclusion zone in the centre of midfield , and maybe even attack through the middle
