Yeah I think so. That's what I am saying a decision needs to be made if there are any sniffs of reoccurrence.etc.
Are we actually paying any of his wages? Genuine question, I really don't know. I just recall seeing a comment that we weren't paying wages on one of our loans but think that was Isidor.
I know the club have been accused of being too wary of over spend, but the Samed situation shows they can throw money away too, which they will have done for the first half of the season till he's fit.... But by God, when he's fit, the Lord willing, he will be like a new signing! And that's what everyone is clamouring for...so just remember this.
And our squad depth isn't that bad. It's not like the people on the bench are worse than the starters when they are dead on their feet.
Samed is THE ONE in this regard, because it's a position of great need and discussion a signing that brought about a lot of excitement. A player of brilliant pedigree. It'll be worth the wait if he's the centre mid signing people are hoping of come Jan. I think we should look to utilise the loan market if there's a winger we could acquire, or someone like Poku as mentioned before. With the full back position I'd make a go of signing someone young and promising that has played some senior football.
Expect to see us continue to bring in young players that will be ready for next season or beyond. would be interesting to see if there’s anyone available that walks into our first eleven (in any position) and if they are willing to bring them in. Our stock is rising and we’re in a much better place to negotiate than previous windows. As much as I like our current first eleven, there’s not much competition for places in midfield (at least not with the current injuries).
Really keen to see another goal scoring winger. Poveda’s time out injured is starting to niggle me now.
He has only played about 30 minutes since he joined, maybe needs a bit more game time until he is dismissed as garbage?
Snap decisions on the internet are super important and never wrong. That's why I'm so glad we got rid of Mayenda
I'm genuinely not getting the stuff about Rigg being rubbish these last few games. I thought he was one of our better attacking players against WbA. Also find the over the top criticism elsewhere of Watson really disappointing. Comparing him to a 14 year old and saying he should be taken out of team straight away. No he shouldn't. If we want to be a club that develops talent we have to persevere and keep giving young players minutes on pitch. It's minutes in tank and he will continue to improve. Look at the progress made by Clarke, Neil, Jobe, Patterson etc. The club should be applauded for having 4 academy products, and another teenager in the starting 11. We should be proud that we dominated against an experienced, well organised champ side. Things are definitely on the up. We aren't going to win every week, we might not get promoted this season, but I'm extremely positive about the direction of travel.
Happens all the time mate, someone says something someone else likes it so decides to say the same thing in slightly different wording then in no time at all it's FACT. Find it quite Interesting.
Think we need to use our words a bit careful....he was not garbage....at Watford,he looked bright...ok...not very productive in the short time he was on.
Did he? He didn’t from where I was stood in the away end like. Roberts was a lot better that day but he was dragged off for Poveda…
Not wanting to pile on but you can’t dismiss him just yet. as for the fat comments (not from you but others) I remember when he first joined and he was video’d doing his medical, he’s far from fat… unfit maybe but not fat.
