I wonder what your top 5 Utd moments are that YOU can actually recall? Not the ones you heard others talk about but the moments that you always remember and rejoice in.

Mine in no particular order.

1. Ole Gunnar Solskjær scoring the winner against Bayern in the 1999 CL final.
2. Ryan Giggs run and goal in extra-time in the 1999 FA Cup semi-final against the gooners to give United a 2–1 win.
3. Roy Keane's finest hour in Turin during the 1999 CL semi-final when he dragged United back from a two-goal deficit to beat Juventus even though he had picked up a yellow card causing him to miss the final.
4.Bruce's winning header against Sheffield Wed in 1993. United had trailed at home to Sheffield Wednesday until late on during a vital league game. After getting the equaliser, Steve Bruce scored the winning goal deep into stoppage time to leave Brian Kidd, and SAF on the pitch in celebration. A few weeks later Utd won their first league title in 26 years.
5. Finally Norman Whiteside's cup winning goal against Everton in 1985 since it was one of my earliest Utd memories. 1 player down and 110 minutes into the game, Whiteside took the ball on his own down the right wing and hit a magnificent curling shot from 25 yards which beat Everton keeper Neville Southall. Quality.

Mine, also in no particular order:

1. And Solksjaer has won it! 1999 CL obvio.
2. Giggs vs Arsenal also in 1999
3. Sparky's first goal in Utd 4 - 1 Luton, March 1990. My first ever Utd match at OT, aged 7. The noise from the first goal was immense for a seven year old - it made my sister cry!
4. Beckham from the halfway line against Wimbledon, in August 96.
5. Cantona to win the 96 FA Cup final. Partly for the Double Double, and partly cos the Liverpool team looked like such a bunch of twats in their cream suits!

1. Solskjaer's goal against Bayern in 99 to win the CL and the look on the Bayern players' faces
2. Schmeichel's penalty save in the FA Cup Semi Final 99
3. Not a moment but the 94 double winning season
4. I also have to say Roy Keane's performance in Turin 99
5. Ending Arsenal's unbeaten league run

1. Juan Verons goal against spurs to complete the comeback, looked like we were going to get beat about 8-0 when we went in at half time. The result hold no real big significance in any respect but it is certainly one of my favourite games.
2. Roy keane in turin, that performance aswell as the game was legendary. Another game we could have quite easily got hammered in.
3. Vs Barca in 99, home and away. Just Brilliant games.
4. Ole's Goal.
5. Manchester United 6 - Arsenal 1. just typified how we dominated that year season.

Some pretty obvious ones above that we'll all share, but below are 5 that haven't been mentioned:

1. Comeback from 2-0 down at Everton to win 4-2 in April 2007. Bolton got a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge at the same time to pretty much guarantee our first title in 4 years
2. Another comeback, 2-0 at Villa Park in the Cup 3rd round, one from Ole and 2 from Ruud gave us a dramatic win (2002)
3. Cantona's winner at Newcastle (along with half a dozen great saves from Schmeichel) in March 1996
4. Giggs' great goal and a 3-2 win vs Juventus in Autumn 1997, which pretty much announced us as a major European outfit.
5. Moscow of course!
Honourable mention for Scholes' winner vs Barcelona in 2008 too.

Aside from the ones mentioned, some of the moments that made me go barmy are;

1. Hughes volley against Oldham in the 94 FA Cup semi-final to earn us a replay.
2. Butt and Cantona's goals against Liverpool on his comeback in 96.
3. David May opening the scoring against Porto in the 96/97 CL.
4. Schmeichel preserving our home record by equalising against Rotor Volograd.

O yes Cantona's winner at Newcastle (along with half a dozen great saves from Schmeichel) in March 1996. Remember coming home to watch the game and panicking at the line up. If I recall correctly wasn't Steve Bruce and Gary Neville at CB since Gary Pallister wasn't available? I remember being concerned over the lack of pace considering Newcastle had Asprilla and Ferdinard in their teams. Big Peter was incredible that night and then up pops Cantona. Back of the net!!!!

Agreed. We took a hammering from Newcastle that game and for Schmeichel it was his 'Keane in Turin' moment. He was just incredible.

I also remember Cantona popping up with a header into the top corner against Blackburn in 95 (I think) to win the game for us.

Remember last game of 1992–93 FA Premier League. Pallister took a free kick and made it 3-1. Hell of strike for a for a CB.
