Thomassen is a decent coach but he’s just qualified for the second qualifying round of the Conference League with AIK after finishing 3rd in Sweden. Their league has just finished a few weeks ago as it runs from March-November unlike our August-May season. He’s not going to leave that job to do a mid-season salvage job in England’s second tier.
