Unpopular opinion but I'd take Hughes out right now.

He's error prone and I'm not sure the kind of battle we're in for us going to do him any favours at a new club at a young age.

I'm not saying he's hasn't got the potential of a Greaves or even better in the longer term - his passing range is excellent and there's clearly a great deal of promise, but I'd see Macca as a safer, more experienced option in his place for the situation we're in at the moment.

    Can Hughes play left back?

    There, I said it.

And he is right, I genuinley worry about some people on here! Why the frig are people getting so angry and upset over a football match? You will give yourself a heart attack. There are people freezing cold, hungry, being abused or suffering serious health conditions and yet I see grown men tonight looking like their head is going to explode because some blokes, who lets be honest dont care one bit about the fans really, have not won a football match.

Anyone who saw the way Tim hugged his kids tonight and still cannot grasp he is a human being trying his best to do his job with a bum hand then I fear for you. I've been around stuff like this and seen Head Coaches I've worked for put their family through hell for the sake of a club and it is heartbreaking. My own wife was bullied at School beacuse of who her Dad is and the 'shi* job' he was doing at Hull KR at the time. Literally beat up at School and had her uniform ripped and bag thrown in front of passing traffic because her Dad lost a few games as a coach. Imagine how he felt (he has told me and it is not nice to hear) sitting down for tea and your daughter is sat there crying asking for a new school shirt because she'd had it ripped from her back on the way home.

Never felt so bad for a City Manager as I did tonight watching him at the end. His players have yet again let him down.

I've said it before on here, take a leaf out of Man Utd's fans book. Have some standards and back the manager and team. Leave the booing and silly songs to the morons and keyboard warriors of the internet. The first thing Ten Hag did when he left was thank the fans in a statement for backing him and the team. Do you think Tim will be thinking the same?We have given him nothing. No atmosphere, no support.

Maybe you should have asked the same question of yourself when criticising Rosieball.

You were vociferous against him, now that far more of the fanbase are more vociferous against the horse you backed you're crying like a bitxh.

    Hilarious.

The players that try to get themselves on the ball the most, are likely to have the most errors per game.

The players that are regularly getting on the ball close to their own goal will have any errors magnified.

Hughes and similar players that show for the ball all the time are NOT the problem. You would be better taking aim at: those that do not try to get on the ball, or the man that plays a system that seems to isolate players from straightforward passing channels.

I'm not saying he the problem in any way.

I'm saying Macca would probably be more of a Steady Eddie. At a time we aren't scoring goals we can't afford his error per game ratio and I don't want to see him totally destroyed in this system.

I’m sorry your wife had to go through that during her childhood. Really horrible stuff.

And I agree with your whole post. At this point, I’d rather Walter be sacked for his own sake than anything else. I didn’t see him with his kids (I presume at full time?) because I left with 15 minutes to go. Partly due to the garbage on display but also once the ‘we want Walter out!’ and ‘sacked in the morning’ chants started by City supporters, the whole atmosphere took a toxic and ugly turn. I get people’s frustrations and as paying customers, they have a right to vent those frustrations. However, tonight was as toxic, if not more so, than the height of the animosity against the Allams and the name change.

I don’t condone any sort of abuse to any manager.

But I really don’t like this trend of telling people they shouldn’t care about football. We all know there is awful things going on in the world. Don’t we all get invested in football to try and escape the real world?

It’s frustrating when something that was going well turns to crap. It’s frustrating when it turns your hobby into something hard to enjoy. That’s normal isn’t it?

As I said, leave the insults out - correct. But surely it’s understandable as to why people get frustrated when something that should be enjoyable turns a bit rubbish and they have to pay for the privilege of watching it.

Tim could also help by being a bit more receptive to our fans.

What the hell are you talking about? I ceriticised his style of play and said it sent me to sleep. I never once booed players or him, nor did I abuse him in any way, shape or form on here or to his face. You really are a weird little man. No wonder so many people on here cannot stand you.

The surprising thing would be if the atmosphere hadn't got a bit toxic after a loss and a display like that

You really are an odious little cretin. Take it you weren’t at the game tonight? What’s the plan for the rest of the night, drinking alone again until you pass out wondering why your wife cheated on you with your mate?

Brady might be in there again next week, like he was after Oxford.

(*Pfft... It's about attention you see...)

You were one of the worst for so called abuse if it was our previous manager.

Walter knew what was coming. He needs to take responsibility for putting his kids in that situation if he was bothered by it at all.

Which I sincerely doubt he was.

I'm not sure thats what he was trying to say. I think it was more along the lines of he will continue to do his job and fight on as football of all things isn't something that can get the better of him.

For me it is a society thing. People just feel they have the right to abuse anyone in their path because they are 'paying customers'. My wife works on the trains and comes home most days having being abused by a passenger for trying to charge them for travelling, asking them to move out of a reserved seat or stop them vaping. It is so bad now Hull Trains are trialing body cams.
