Mempham is a rolls royce defender which should allow others to get forward quicker. We miss Cirkin .Luke turning back too often and Watson needs to create or score with the amount of possession in and around WBA box. Alese and Connolly or Mayenda hopefully speed us up going forward.

Pretty happy with that, still waiting on that moment of magic to carve them open but a good performance and I think the chances will come. Watson doing very well, using the ball intelligently and always looking to do damage.

    We’re playing well here

they’ve a lot of possession in their third but cant beat our press and organisation to get into the second never mind final third

meanwhile we’ve shown ability to move through the thirds in 4 passes

it is impressive without a clear cut opportunity carved

So then, what will we do in the second half.
We don’t have a lead to defend so I hope we keep on the front foot.

He doesnt even look fazed at all, and makes it all look so easy.
Hes like a man against boys sometimes the way he just eases the opposition off the ball without breaking sweat.

Watson has settled well but still needs to make quicker decisions. … Jobe in control … Neil better because of that … Isidor making great runs.

It won’t take a lot to beat them, just need to move the ball a touch quicker …

… we can’t leave it too long to get Mayenda on imo.

A good first half in terms of possession and our pressing to win the ball back, but we haven't really created anything. We need to change up our attacking routines a bit.

Not really sure what the commentator is seeing though. West Brom are a team with promotion aspirations and they're defending like we're Man City. We're far from it and if they were a bit more adventurous, they could actually win this.

Feel like a couple of choice balls over the top or through to Isidor would do, their cb’s aren’t exactly fast

West Brom are well coached and organised mind. Fair play to them. 3 in the box well positioned and not easy to get round the back. Need to watch that rwb for them, he looks a threat. Watson out of possession still learning. Hume is a hell of a comfort blanket though. Even at left back he looks bomb proof. Along with Jobe his level this year has really gone up fast. I thought he mighy flatten out, but far from it, just a fantastic player. I bet he is regarded as thr best teammate by many.

Don't think it's fallen for Roberts this half, probably going to take him a few games to get him up to speed again. I think that Rigg seems slightly of the pace as well. Hopefully they can come out in the second half flying

Corberan wants them to play out but you can see they’re really nervous …

… a couple of full on presses wouldn’t hurt.

I'd chuck someone higher up to support Wilson. When the ball goes over the top he gets there but there's no support.

Think we look ****ing class though.

So far so good, we knew it would not be easy and
maybe the later we score the better, but its not doing much for my nerves .

    For Roberts yes I agree.

Watson growing into the game, looks more dangerous when he gets to the byline

Rigg not quite on it, a few heavy touches but also some really nice touches as well, just need a bit more from him

Roberts needs to be attacking the back post more, isidor isn't getting between or across markers enough in the box, need to see more double movements from him.

Missing a natural LB, Hume doing fine but feel he's running inside of Watson too often

Neil and Jobe doing really well out of possession, jobe started to drive into the box towards the end of the half so need more of that

Overall, we were OK that half and def the better team

Now we need to show we can put in a 2nd half performance after the last few games

Roberts goes from a Champions league player when hes got the ball on the byline to a league one player as soon as he cuts inside and gets near the box. The most frustrating player ever with very little goal contributions
