I can’t see a thread yet and if not could OS do the honours?

Kick this off with the font of all City knowledge Glen’s take on possible exits.

    https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/

Kanga & Meite definitely can go in my book.

Can we have a thread for a whip round for their train fares - second class of course?

I read that. Some are pretty straight forward, a few a bit less certain.

I think we should be looking at one in, one out rather than one out, one in.
I'd forgotten it was a 25 man squad for the championship. The youngsters don't count though, so useful to have a few in the building.

Still no idea why Reindorf doesn't get the 10-15 minutes that Kanga does.

I'm not contributing.... It'd be a waste of money as they're bound to miss the bloody things!!

Kanga has been nothing short of a waste of a spot in the squad. As much as I hate saying it, he's even worse than Ugbo was....

As for Meite, it's a genuine shame as he could and should have been so much better, but for whatever reason it just isn't happening for him.
He's definitely had long enough so sadly it's time to say goodbye to him too.

I also never thought I'd end up saying this but I also hope we don't take any other options up on Rambo (I know that's not for January though)... The romance of it all was lovely, and we've had some brief glimpses of what he can bring but he needs to be moved to a coaching role after his contract is up.

It’s hard to work out the reason. I don’t think Reindorff played for u/21’s last time out so maybe he was injured? Or maybe something to do with the loan deal financially because there’s no justification for him being on the bench.

I thought Reindorff was our player, not on loan.

EDIT - or are you referring to Kanga's loan?:emoticon-0138-think

I read it as Kanga's loan.
We may be contracted to give him game time.
I'd pay the penalty if that was the case.

We must be. I can see no other possible reason for him to be in the matchday squad.

Would be very useful if we could get him.

Robbo and O'Dowda should have a word with him - they both know him well from the ROI team.

Further out than January, but just looking at the list of players out of contract in the summer.
A few of them could go now.
The list probably splits into thirds.
Keep, if nothing better on offer and go.
Hopefully Riza can start the turnover of personel in January.

    • Wilfried Kanga (loan)
    • Dimitrios Goutas
    • Anwar El Ghazi
    • Callum Robinson
    • Callum O'Dowda
    • Yakou Meite
    • Isaak Davies
    • Joe Ralls
    • Kion Etete
    • Aaron Ramsey
    • Jamilu Collins
    • Andy Rinomhota
    • Jak Alnwick

Of that list and taking injury prone players into account I’d keep just Goutas.

Keep him yes, but Robinson and O'Dowda have value too. The problem is, with weak cover for them, they are probably asked to play more often than is good for them. They then get injured and are out for longer than we like.

A stronger squad gives more cover and the ability to rotate players.

Keep Alnwick unless we can get better.

Isaak is also useful if he can stay fit but as with many players with speed hamstrings are an issue.

That leaves 8 to go and for 2 or 3 of them the sooner the better.

Never lived up to his billing. A goal every 7 games and injury prone. Let t'Udders have him on loan and see if he can improve.

Kanga, Ashford and Tsunoda to go as well. Makes space for new and hopefully improved signings. Surely there must be a few more with 13 out of contract at the season end.

Turnbull has had surgery on his hamstring and will be a long term absentee. That complicates things for the transfer window.

I'm still concerned with the number of injuries we're getting, especially hammys and knees.
