But… but.. we have better players… according to none of our managers since he started playing regularly!

Agree with this. We could get through the game and none of those players get booked, if we've got any chance of a top-2 spot come April we need to field what the manager feels is our strongest team.

Realistically West Brom are a bigger threat to our play off spot than Sheff Utd who’ll finish top two …

… it’s therefore, in my opinion, more important to best West Brom.

However I can appreciate that those who think we can go automatically won’t agree.

They're both big games imo. Win against the baggies and a draw at Sheffield would be tremendous.

A win against West Brom takes some of the pressure off the Sheffield game as we will already have points in the bag to put the pressure on other teams

I am still confident we can finish top 2 personally. I have said for a while we will be stronger second half of season and still think that. Regis will have seen every team and players like Connelly, Wilson and Browne will be fully up to speed. I expect us to sign at least 1 to push the existing lads hard. For me every game is as important in this league, all worth 3 points. Fear nobody, underestimate nobody, should be our mantra and I suspect it isnt far off.

No recognised right back for them tonight allegedly I’d start Watson on the left let him run at a centre half/midfielder out of position

To be honest I don’t have a good feeling about this one. Based on absolutely nothing of course. I hope I’m waking up to a win though.

I agree with you there mind, we got a real player in Mepham and if we can pick another 1 or 2 like him up in January from the premier league we will take some stopping.

Surely Roberts comes back in on the right for Mayenda (caveat that I didn't watch Saturday)

Tough game tonight, I can see it turning into a bit of a stalemate. Both are good defensively, hopefully we can get one early to open it up.

2 massive games coming up. I fancy us against anyone in this league, but if we can get 2 good results that would put another marker down to the rest of the league.

It's also, always freezing when we play west brom at home. When we got beat the other year, it was the coldest I've ever been at a match <doh>
